Lovely place to see traditional Lao wooden houses as well as learn about the variety of weaving and dyeing techniques. Best to call up before visiting to ensure they are open first just in case.

▸ Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan)
An interesting open-air sculpture park. Cheapest and easiest way to get to Buddha Park from the city is definitely by catching the 14 bus from Vientiane Central Bus Station also known as Talat Sao Bus Station and Khua Din Bus Station. The bus stop to return back to the city via bus #14 again is directly across the road, opposite where you're dropped off.
