Perfect Steak Over Fire | The Ultimate Outdoor Meal
Today I’m cooking a fire‑seared ribeye deep in the Swedish outdoors.
I start by trimming the fat from the steak and letting it melt down in a hot iron pan — creating a rich, beefy base that everything else cooks in. Once the fat begins to bubble, I add the vegetables: thin‑sliced potatoes, whole split garlic bulbs, shallots, mushrooms, fresh rosemary, thyme, and green onion. They fry slowly in the rendered beef fat, turning golden, crispy, and full of flavor.
When the vegetables are nearly done, the ribeye goes in for a hard sear. It builds a deep crust over open fire before I finish it off in my outdoor oven setup, letting the heat wrap around the meat until it’s perfectly cooked.
Simple ingredients, real fire, and the calm rhythm of outdoor cooking surrounded by forest and water.
No talking — just cooking, fire, and the outdoors.
If you enjoy outdoor cooking, ASMR food videos, or rustic meals made over open flame, this one is for you.
