US Iran retaliatory strikes to be expected amid MOU setbacks

Naval Warfare Senior Research Fellow Brent Sadler says the back-and-forth strikes between the US and Iran were to be expected.

“This is partly to be expected… the Iranians are trying to exercise leverage by attacking shipping, and they’re facing the response,” Mr Sadler told Sky News Australia.

“This is not your traditional, diplomatic approach to a ceasefire; this is very much President Trump’s approach.”
