Gladiator Clip 1 The Glory of Rome

This Bible Discussion focuses on the nature of God's Kingdom that Jesus ushered into this world. This kingdom is different than all other earthly ones since it is eternal and invisible -- i.e., it is present in human hearts and relationships. There are two clips from "Gladiator" included in this study: the first illustrates the idealism and short-comings of the Roman Empire from the perspective on its emperor, Marcus Aurelius, and the second (optional) illustrates the human sense of eternal glory.
