Lisa, who is an @EmersonCollege alum, discussed her background as an actor, film documentarian, and event curator. RoxFilm festival's mission - now in it's 28th year - celebrates the work of filmmakers of color. The festival seeks to support diverse filmmakers by providing a platform for them to share their visions, while at the same time offering audiences the chance to witness stories and voices that are frequently overlooked in mainstream media.
