Nobita uses a gadget from Doraemon to split himself into two versions based on his conflicting desires: one that wants to do homework and one that wants to play. While the \"studious\" Nobita handles his chores and helps Shizuka with errands, the \"playful\" Nobita enjoys himself, eventually learning that both halves share the same identity and consequences.
