France vs China Highlights Week 2 Women s VNL 2026

Best day tomorrow before a huge game against Belgium but first it is time here at the Amazon Women's Volleyball Nations League 2026 in Ankara for France to serve for China to scramble and for this game to get underway Gérard feeds it in first swing so Donatelos can serve again early break point for France that is two loose receptions from Li Chenchen she's been the lesser used of the young outsides for China so perhaps some early nerves for her but surely don't ask so China off the mark not confident on that ball at all this is going to be a free ball and an early chance for China in it goes to Zhang oh great play good reflexes by Zhelan but another swing here to the middle Donatelos is there Zhelan sets and Deppi oh lovely up by Zhang that's Tong Xin in a setter and this ball still in the air great rally great hustle and a great swing by Chong a little bit shorter another tip this one doesn't find the floor oh yes puts that down for 7-7 Donatelos she does get some useful block touches but there is a mismatch out there with Tong Yuhan and that's an overpass that's an easy point for Guo another good serve that one's overpassed can Rota convert oh brilliant chase down Dong that little touch took it away from Rota one point game China need to find their gear again that's Doug Donatelos Rota up off the hands good block work from China oh that is super quick to Guo this is the danger area for China if they can get that ball in the right situation great serve advantage China but Kazutsu working hard backcourt just a down ball though Rota covers Kazutsu again Deppi she's gone for it but it's a good dig from Meng Tse who's the cover oh it wasn't there Eva Eluga hands on her head since the tournament began a couple of weeks ago she's gone after Zhe Lan this time who's done well but it's into transition this for a big lead oh chance taken Chong Yushen towards the end of this set wow Guo serving for the set 24-18 that one's over on one so Donatelos with options oh Rota straight into Tong Xin and China win the first set in style loads of effort from France but once we got to the key moment so Rota can serve again 2-0 France chasing a positive start just another comprehensive finish whether it's Chong Yushen whether it's Dong Yuhan they are keeps that break point lead Deppi flat ball in means it's even quicker it's so fast and it's quite the big twist of the hips from Angel same way from Kazutsu better pass and Wang Haochen looking unstoppable on that quick ball today that set fired in doesn't work to the middle for a change Rota from backcourt again just using the hands Chong Yushen swinging high top score in the game eight very impressive Donatelos Dong Donatelos well defended pay attention Rota have to have their wits about them with the block now because Tong Xin is coming in hot great hand control from Dong Yuhan two aces the only person who served an ace on the court in this game so far Kazut they're gonna have to play that wasn't a clean first touch that was clean though from Helena Kazut two good swings there to get France back on the board France really shuffling the pack so that was sharp that's Stojkovic this is Indai and that is some more great defense but a big block Rateri positive serve that Tong Xin receives well Dong finishes oh block block block block Chong Yushen 23-25 oh great block and Indai gave that everything Chong Yushen celebrates again and got a good block touch on the other allow it set points 24-15 Indai that is the Iman Indai well they're not going to need to touch the ball to do so Masswell sends the ball along good totals against good teams she's done it again against France and France serving first in the third set must win set for France need a strong start Schalke so they've stuck with the young guns through the outside at the start of this set Indai on court as well Rateri good swing good point really good swing degree of difficulty don't get extra points for that not in this game gonna be a free ball here Rateri long out Chen with the first touch that Schalke can help France recover Rateri asking for a touch not getting it so let's find out take a look at the fingers again ball in is good what's the finish like oh it's Dong it's brilliant of course it is she's tidied up her swing so Li Chenchen has come back into the reception unit a shaky start to the game that is Wang Yuan Yuan doing what Wang Yuan Yuan does giving her some good support as well 13-15 oh it's overpassed it is a one point game doesn't finish off the Chinese bench making an impact Wang Yuan Yuan at the heart of that and then Guo leading the block against Indai really good block from China Wang Yuan Yuan what a service run this is turning out to be Indai oh can only tip now the opportunity to hit the front not yet oh brilliant by Xiaolong now can the block back it up no they cannot Gong Xiangyu puts China ahead for the first time in the set everyone of the French roster has been on court today Zheyi good first touch from her oh what a block that is on Indai that is first class 19-16 it is now China's to lose Xiong with the serve Stojkovic goes to the middle that's nice tempo 20-17 two sets to zero Xiaolong delivers oh the block the block is enormous and the celebrations as well 16-3 and one turning into a bit of a block machine oh nearly got another one there as well but Depi finds a way 23-18 side out here for match point achieved Tong Xin they make it look easy Guo serving for the match it is 24-18 in the third set free ball this for the win oh not this time Zhong Yuxian denied Depi takes France up to 19. they've got a home finals to look forward to as well they are growing at an alarming rate
