Hiking and Landscape Photography： Log Jams, Reflections, and Challenging Light in Northwest Montana

In this episode, I take my mom for a nice hike on Memorial Day weekend and engage in some great springtime landscape photography. The light is difficult but the scouting for better days in the fall is immeasurably valuable. Of course it would not be complete without its share of misadventures. I fall into the log jam while crossing it several times, get caught in a Hawthorne bush, and also nearly lose all my video data in a corrupted memory card. I am very happy this video ever saw the light of day! And of course, Willow participates in her all-time favorite activity: ruining reflections by playing fetch in the water.#stunningnature
