On visite ensemble aujourd’hui LES TEMPLES DE ABOU SIMBEL consacrés au Pharaon Ramses II et sa conjointe préférée Nefertari, situés au sud de l’Égypte.
Le majestueux temple de Ramses ii est le plus impressionnant que nous avons visité, d’autant plus qu’il est entièrement sculpté dans une montagne.
De plus le colossal monument a été complètement déplacé bloc par bloc et pièce par pièce afin de prévenir son inondation lors de la construction du barrage entre 1960 et 1970, tout comme le temple de Nerfertari et 13 autres temples situés le long du Nil en amont du nouveau barrage.

TEMPLE OF RAMSES II AND NEFERTARI
We are visiting together today THE TEMPLES OF ABOU SIMBEL dedicated to Pharaoh Ramses II and his favorite wife Nefertari, located in southern Egypt.
The majestic temple of Ramses II is the most impressive we visited, especially since it is entirely carved into a mountain.
In addition, the colossal monument was completely moved block by block and piece by piece to prevent its flooding during the construction of the dam between 1960 and 1970, just like the temple of Nerfertari and 13 other temples located along the Nile upstream from the new dam.
