Odd and Even Numbers - A great video to help children to learn the odd and even numbers. Learn the odd and even rules, identify odd and even numbers, play odd and even games. A great video for children of all ages.
Learning the numbers is one of the different first things that kids learn at the beginning of their education journey; they learn numbers, letters and they might also come to the point where they learn the shapes. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VU1x8oIcvT0)
Learning the numbers for kids takes different shapes and lots of different stages, it all starts with learning to count the numbers themselves and then moves forward to learning the odd and even numbers and eventually comes to the part of learning the different mathematical equations.
There are different games that parents could use and depend on when it comes to teaching their kids the even and odd numbers and how to spot and identify them. One of these methods is the one we have brought in this video and which is all about letting the kids first count the even numbers and then count again but this time with the odd numbers only.
To keep the game going and complete it in a way that would make the kids interested in it all, we then recommend completing the game with bringing different numbers and asking the child whether it is an odd or else and an even number. This will not only help the kid in differentiating, but it will also give him/her the chance to know how to calculate an even or an odd number if it was a big one. Playing with numbers is one of the most interesting games that kids could play because they will count with you, try to answer with the right answers and feel themselves proud and they also get to learn new techniques in their calculations and in math in general. One of these different lessons and games which they will learn is related to the odd and even numbers that kids should be able to know about and differentiate from one another.
On our channel, LearningMole, there are different games related to math which parents could depend on to learn new methods and techniques related to math, learning numbers and learning to count numbers as well.
Some of the suggestions that we would like to provide now include the different counting rhymes which make it easier for the kids to learn counting, one of them is "Ten in a Bed" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZC_ScHpCg8). Counting from 1 to 20 for toddlers and preschoolers is also one of the mathematical lessons we are offering to parents on our channel, you could find it here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYmMjMBjMcI). To make sure that your kids are good at counting and all, you should try some creative and a little bit difficult methods with them, such as asking them to count backwards after they count in the correct order (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5gutmYmsaA).
Numbers and math in general means learning how to add (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkqMQJMtCrQ), how to subtract (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i62H7oT4LZw), how to multiply (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYvf790iHUc) along with learning the different times tables (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r6IN-h9d-I) and eventually learning more about division and how to divide.
Always keep in mind the age of your child because sometimes you might think that the games you want to play with them are suitable when in fact they are not. To know whether the game is suitable or not, you should focus on the way your kid is responding to the game and at the same time how much they are understanding it all and finding it interesting to play.
Another important thing when it comes to math is taking it all step by step, don't rush and don't miss one stage in the middle of the way because this will probably make it harder for the kid to learn what you are trying to tell him/her, and don't ever move forward unless you are sure that your kid totally understood the previous stage.
Even numbers are those which could be divided evenly into groups of two, such as 2, 4, 6, 8, etc. while the odd numbers are those which could not be divided into groups of two and this would include 3, 5, 7, 9, etc. There is also one important thing or tip to give to the kids when it comes to knowing which numbers are even and which are odd; even numbers always end with a digit of 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8, and this would make it easier for the kids to know the number they are dealing with is even or else is odd, and this will also make it easier for the kids to play this game and know which of these numbers are even and which are odd from the last digit number.
