Times tables are to make it easier for the kids to multiply two different numbers by one another and make it easier for them to memorize it. In this educational video, kids will learn number 8 times table and know more about it all.

Timetable is the basic method or technique in the world of multiplication and it is the one kids depend on in order to find the answers for the multiplication questions which they are asked. Usually, times tables are focused on the numbers one to ten because getting bigger with the numbers might turn out to be harder for the kids and thus could depend on other methods such as the grid method (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3duqrhE8Xw).

Every number has its own times table and kids are usually taught the basics of how a multiplication times table is counted but then they are helped to memorize these times tables. It is easy to memorize a times table after understanding how it is all counted and that's exactly the same reason why there are usually different techniques followed out there.

In addition to the famous grid method and the times tables which we have already talked and mentioned before, multiplication could be also taught through games like Lego pieces and play doh - it always depends on what the multiplication lesson is all about. Mathematical operations could come in different ways and forms and one of them is the story problems which kids should be good enough to solve through translating the words into numbers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pWka6dk3b4). In addition to the way the question is imposed, there are also different methods through which the mathematical equation is answered and one of our favorite easy methods which we advise the kids with is the number line because it gives them the chance to count on it and at the same time get the final answer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v0AjM0jcPA).

Being part of understanding multiplication and knowing how to multiply, kids should be well aware of the multiplication vocabulary that is found out there, words that include times, multiply, double, etc. because these are the ones kids search for in any mathematical problem they are given and thus know that they should multiply (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trlXHFaeZYw).

The creative games and ideas that kids could think about when it comes to multiplication are numerous and they will depend on the numbers found in the equation and what the question is. Every single number has its own times table and you could check number nine times table after finishing this video about number 8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4UwqDwZlf8) and keep going further with the rest of the numbers which you could also find on our channel.

Number 8 times table:
8 x 1 = 8
8 x 2 = 16
8 x 3 = 24
8 x 4 = 32
8 x 5 =40
8 x 6 = 48
8 x 7 = 56
8 x 8 = 64
8 x 9 = 72
8 x 10 = 80

There are usually the numbers included in any timetable but it could keep going further but would be considered harder for the kids to memorize and at this point will need to use any of the other methods used in multiplication, like the grid method (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9TWSto7FSU).

Choosing the technique which the kids will fall in love with will always depend on the age of the child and the question imposed and it will also depend on the method that the kid prefers and considers the easiest for him/her.

Math learning and education for kids starts with learning the numbers and then knowing how to count before moving further to where the kid will start to learn addition, subtraction, multiplication and eventually will come to learn division. All the mathematical operations are mainly about counting but in different ways and kids should know how they are supposed to count in order to be moving in the right direction and bring the right answer at the end.
