WC 2026 - M21: Highlights PORTUGAL 1 - 1 CONGO DR

And off we go in Houston. Portugal, all in red, kicking from left to right. Neto, great header and in! The first Portuguese goal of another World Cup pursuit. Bakambu, good turn, great feet. Has he got the finish? It's back with Wisse once more. Has a pop. Oh, wasn't too far away either. Here come Portugal and that is a vital interception. Capuadi to Wisse, lovely take on the turn there. Wisse from distance. That's interesting. Wisse! We have history in Houston. A first ever World Cup goal for D.R. Congo. Great ball in. Will not count. Oh, good ball inside. Not a great first touch though from Kiembe. Bakambu slams the post. Oh, that's nice. Konsei Sao could be in. Ronaldo could be in. And he's screwed his effort wide. Tornado into Fernandes. Konsei Sao's pullback. Now Ronaldo can't convert. Squared across. Oh! Now Cancelo. Bruno Fernandes. It's like he matters into his own hands. And that is it. Full time in Houston. Portugal 1, D.R. Congo 1.
