The video documents Day 4 of a paddling expedition along the Yukon River. In this episode, the couple (Matt and Jen) leave their campsite as the Teslin River merges into the Yukon River, significantly increasing the river’s flow speed. Taking advantage of the faster current, they cover an impressive 40 miles in a single day. Along the way, they face challenges finding clear drinking water because much of the river is filled with glacial silt. To avoid overexerting their muscles after several consecutive days of paddling, they decide to stop early and set up camp near the remains of an old gold-rush-era dredge, using the opportunity to rest and recover before continuing their journey.
