Welcome to our video about black holes for kids! In this video, we'll be exploring what black holes are and how they are formed.

Black holes are some of the most mysterious and fascinating objects in the universe. They are areas of space where the normal laws of physics break down, and they are so dense and massive that nothing, not even light, can escape their gravitational pull.

Black holes come in different sizes and types, depending on their mass and the way that they are formed. The most common type of black hole is a stellar black hole, which is formed when a massive star collapses at the end of its life.

Stellar black holes can range in size from a few times the mass of the sun to hundreds of times the mass of the sun. They are usually small, but they can be very dense and have a powerful gravitational pull.

Black holes can also be formed by the collapse of massive clouds of gas and dust, or by the collision of two neutron stars. These types of black holes are called intermediate-mass black holes and supermassive black holes, respectively.

Supermassive black holes are the largest type of black hole and can have masses millions or billions of times the mass of the sun. They are thought to be at the center of most galaxies, including our own Milky Way.

Black holes are some of the most mysterious and fascinating objects in the universe. We hope that you've enjoyed learning about them!
