WC 2026 - M18: Highlights Iraq vs Norway - Group I - Highlights

And so the first touch of a World Cup ball for Iraq in the white, Norway in the distinctive red. Nusa, support from Muller-Volfo, and in there was Haaland. It's taken him less than half an hour to score his first ever World Cup goal. Alamari, brilliant header, it's 1-1. And Hussain equalises for Iraq. Oh, that's a little short. It's far too short, especially when Haaland is lurking. And he won't get an easier World Cup goal early in Haaland than that one. And right through the middle is Al-Hamadi, who's gone beyond. Oh, what a hit that is. Unlucky. Ibrahim Baesh, Hussain trying to repeat the trick. Alamari got his head up, too high for Baesh, lobbed back over Nilon by Hussain Ali. Erdegaard, Oscar Bob, beautiful Norway move. It almost deserved a goal. Ostergaard, leapt higher than them all. Sadamic, but it's a dangerous ball. Haaland's on a hat-trick. Sheldorup coming out of it with the ball. Torsved, side netting. Scooped into Ostergaard, and the goalkeeper couldn't get hold of it. Quite spectacular start for Norway to this 2026 World Cup. Iraq 1, Norway 4.
