The story behind this song: Long ago, there was a distant realm called Modernia — a land that once lived beneath sacred light and remembered the ancient teachings of Heaven. Its people had once known humility, goodness, and reverence. But as the ages passed, they forgot the old truths. Pride replaced wisdom, desire replaced purity, greed replaced mercy, and cruelty became common among them.

The people of Modernia grew arrogant and disrespectful. They mocked the divine name, abandoned sacred teachings, and believed they could live without Heaven. Seeing this, the compassionate Father looked upon the realm with sorrow and sighed. Because the people themselves had rejected the divine, the demons believed Heaven would no longer protect them.

So darkness spread.

Demons entered Modernia in secret, hiding among ordinary people. They did not need to destroy the world by force; they simply controlled those whose hearts had already become wicked. Soon the realm fell into madness, violence, lust, and chaos. Only a few gentle souls still kept goodness alive, hiding among the ruins with a faint light in their hearts.

Then, at the final moment, countless pillars of pure white light descended from Heaven. Within the light stood angels who had endured countless trials. The wicked looked up and suddenly understood:

This was the day of judgment.

In an instant, Modernia was separated by the nature of each soul. Those who still carried goodness were lifted into a realm of light, where they wept with gratitude and awe. Those who had chosen unforgivable evil were cast into eternal darkness, the very darkness they had followed.

When the judgment was complete, the angels returned to Heaven. The old age ended, and a new world began beneath holy light.

[Verse 1]
I saw a land called Modernia,
Bright beneath a silver sky.
Once its rivers sang with mercy,
Once its towers reached on high.
Ancient words were carved in sunlight,
Olden prayers were soft and clear.
Children knew the names of Heaven,
And the humble lived without fear.

[Verse 2]
But the years became a mirror,
Where the proud adored their face.
They forgot the sacred teaching,
They forgot the gift of grace.
Gold became their morning altar,
Pleasure became their law.
Blood was spilled for empty glory,
And no one trembled at what they saw.

[Pre-Chorus]
I heard them laugh at holy names,
I saw their hearts become the flame.
Not light, not love, not truth remained,
Only smoke from what they stained.

[Chorus]
O Modernia, fallen star,
How did you wander, how so far?
You were born beneath the light,
But you chose the endless night.
Still the heavens watched in tears,
Calling through forgotten years.
Turn your heart before you fall,
Mercy still can hear your call.

[Verse 3]
Then the demons came in silence,
Wearing faces made of men.
They did not break the gates with thunder,
They were welcomed deep within.
They found the cruel, they found the greedy,
Found the souls already torn.
Whispered madness into cities,
Till the dark became their dawn.

[Verse 4]
Yet among the shattered houses,
Where the smoke had veiled the sun,
There were still a few who trembled,
Still a few who chose the good.
Weak they were, but not forsaken,
Hidden under ash and stone.
In their hearts a candle waited,
Faint, but never left alone.

[Pre-Chorus]
The Father looked upon that land,
With sorrow in His open hand.
He sighed, and all the heavens knew:
The final hour was drawing through.

[Chorus]
O Modernia, fallen star,
How did you wander, how so far?
You were born beneath the light,
But you chose the endless night.
Still the heavens watched in tears,
Calling through forgotten years.
Turn your heart before you fall,
Mercy still can hear your call.

[Bridge]
Then from beyond the veils of flame,
A thousand beams of white light came.
Not wrath alone, not blind decree,
But truth unveiled for all to see.
Sanctus, sanctus, voices cried,
Every shadow lost its pride.
Lux descendit, pure and bright,
Heaven opened through the night.

[Chorus]
O Modernia, hear the sky,
No more masks and no more lies.
Every heart shall now be shown,
Every seed shall meet its own.
Those who kept the gentle flame,
Rose and called on Heaven's name.
Those who loved the dark they made,
Fell into the endless shade.

[Outro]
I saw the angels rise again,
Past the clouds of silver rain.
And where Modernia once had cried,
A newborn dawn began to shine.
