Dragons are creatures from stories and myths that people have told for a very, very long time. Even though dragons aren't real, they've been part of stories from many different cultures all around the world.

Most dragons are imagined as very large, often with scales, wings, and the ability to breathe fire! They can look a bit like dinosaurs or giant snakes, and they're often shown as being quite powerful.

In some stories, dragons are scary and cause trouble. Heroes might try to defeat these dragons to save the day. But not all dragons are bad. In other stories, especially ones from China and other parts of Asia, dragons are considered lucky and helpful.

One of the things that make dragons so interesting is that they can look different and act differently depending on the story. Some dragons might have many heads or different colours. Others might live in caves, mountains, or even under the sea.

Even though dragons are just make-believe, they help us imagine amazing adventures and tell exciting stories. So, next time you hear a story about a dragon, remember that while they may not be real, the fun and adventure they bring to stories certainly is!
