The iFLYTEK AINOTE Air 2 tries to be three devices in one — an e-reader, a handwriting tablet, and a meeting recorder with AI transcription — for around $500. After living with it, the writing experience genuinely impressed me, but there's one catch you need to know about before you spend the money. In this honest review I cover what this 8.2" E Ink device gets right (the writing feels excellent and the screen is sharp), where it falls short (the AI transcription struggled with my accent and got too many words wrong), and exactly who should and shouldn't buy it at this price.
