My EDC collection has grown over the years, and eventually I ran into a problem…

Where do you store all the extra gear?

Flashlights, pen lights, empty pouches, pry bars, mini ratchets, precision bits, whistles, batteries, notebooks, fire starters, mini tape measures, sewing kits, and all the random gadgets that don’t quite belong in a dedicated kit.

That’s where this setup comes in.

By combining two Kobalt mini toolboxes with Walmart’s new Hyper Tough mini cabinet, I was able to create a compact EDC organization station that gives me quick access to all the gear I use when building kits.

Whenever I put together a new EDC pouch, survival kit, tool kit, or review gear sent in by companies, I can simply open the drawers and grab exactly what I need.

Despite the small footprint, this setup holds an incredible amount of gear and has become one of my favorite additions to the EDC room.
