Welcome everyone to the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction dinner.
It was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life.
But it couldn't have been easy for my parents and my brother.
I'm going to just pick up and move our entire family.
Here are some of the best Taylor Swift moments of the Songwriters Hall of Fame that you definitely missed.
Check out this video.
So as I stated earlier, the night was only just beginning.
And Taylor certainly didn't come alone.
Her family, along with fiancé Travis Kelsey, came out to support her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Taylor also rubbed elbows with legendary film producer and director Steven Spielberg at the event,
whom she chose to induct her into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Honestly, that is insane to me.
But things got more interesting as the night went on,
when Taylor and Travis started dancing to Beyoncé's Single Ladies and Rihanna's Umbrella.
And it definitely caught on with everyone else at the table too, as Mama Swift started jamming along.
Talk about the perfect way to break up the monotony of an event where you're mostly sitting all evening.
To add to that, seeing Spielberg film Taylor and Travis having a good time together,
while Taylor helped with the camera angles, really blew my mind.
To the point, the moment disrupted my reality just a bit.
The night carried on, with Taylor receiving praise from fellow inductees and CEOs throughout the ceremony.
Taylor Swift received our L. David Starlight Award in 2010.
She's now being inducted. She was the youngest female to be inducted.
And Stevie Wonder beat her out because he was 13 when he started.
She was 15.
So Taylor, all I can say is we know that you're working on this anniversary next.
Have a great show. Thank you for coming. Keep writing.
Taylor and Travis continued vibing into the late hours,
as they jammed to performances by Alanis Morissette,
Kenny Loggins,
and tributes from Sombra.
Shortly after, the moment we've all been waiting for finally happened.
Taylor was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
I am honored to be here tonight to introduce the youngest female ever to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
And she delivered one of the most heartfelt speeches of the night.
It was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life.
But it couldn't have been easy for my parents and my brother,
to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville,
so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world.
But after it became obvious that this was not even remotely a temporary phase their tween daughter was going through,
they uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City.
And even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing,
I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me.
Thanking her family for all the sacrifices they made to help her dreams come true.
And honestly, I couldn't imagine there being a dry eye in the room.
What an incredible accomplishment and I'm so happy for her.
And on that note, if you missed her beautiful entrance to the event, check out the next video.
