Let's move over to a slightly less important issue than cricket, which is the emerging World War III breaking out between the US and Tehran. And Donald Trump has come out, God bless his cotton socks, and said that a deal with Iran is quote unquote, still close, despite retaliatory strikes over a downed helicopter. And then we've got another one, where Trump has claimed that an Iran deal is around the Now, we're now hearing that Trump may launch a new offensive, despite saying that a deal is just around the corner. So the question I suppose is, is Donald Trump, dare I say it, trigger warning, if we're talking about people saying something that isn't true, dozens and dozens of times and getting their comeuppance for it, I'm no Trump hater, but can we actually believe a word that he says about Iran, given that he said that a deal is about to be struck 38 times, and so far nada. It looks, in fact, like it might be getting even further away and that we might be going back to open. Joe, Donald Trump has just posted this on social media just in the last few minutes, I believe. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn't even exist anymore. They've been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The bully of the Middle East is dead. They've taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them. Now they will have to pay the price. President Donald J. Trump. He's just posted that. Well, their drones are still pretty good. But he's said that before as well. That's the thing. Do you know what I hate about all of this? A lot of it. But what I hate about this is the people of Iran who want freedom. And I'm not saying that as a warmonger, because no sane person wants war. But imagine if we had just waited out the diplomacy in Hitler, and everyone likes to use that analogy. You're talking about the biggest violator of human rights in the world, executes more people in the world, women, gays, we all know the statistics, right? And these are stories that aren't, while all this garbage is going on, these are stories that are still going on. People who are just desperate for the same freedoms we have. Controversial opinion. Go on. I don't care what Donald Trump says. It's irrelevant what he says. What he says publicly, what he posts on Truth Social, take it with a grain of salt. It's more entertainment than information, to be honest. It's what Trump does that is important. Even more controversial opinion, I think the problem with all his bellicose language or him saying, you know, if you don't do this, we're going to do it. The problem has been that he hasn't actually followed through, that he said, we're going to bomb you back to oblivion or whatever, if you don't do this or you don't do that, or here's this deadline. And they've passed, and there have been no consequences. And that undermines Trump's biggest kind of skill as a diplomat, his secret weapon, which is madman diplomacy, which is, this guy's so crazy, he could do anything. And instead, what Trump is displaying, possibly because he's more of a peacemonger than people give him credit for, is that he will actually blink. He doesn't want to wipe out, you know, civilian population. On the other hand, he's not done an Obama and released a whole lot of funds to the Iranian regime. He's not said, well, you can keep your nuclear dust and we'll just have a 10 year pause. So the thing is a stalemate. But at the moment, he has not given up on his resolve that they must get rid of all their nuclear material. I'm still in Team Trump on this one. I am on Team Trump also.
