The video also recounts a stressful incident involving a crashed drone near a waterfall.
Hey everyone! Before this video starts I just quickly want to make an announcement that I am
soon hosting a travel with me trip here in Japan in May 2023 and I am so excited for the itinerary.
We're going to hike Mount Kisakuma and we're going to hike in Kamikochi which I'm so excited for
and a bunch of other really really exciting places and I really think you're going to love
this itinerary. I said really too many times, sorry. If you would like to know more details
about it please go into the link in the description and you can find all of the
details there so please go and check it out if you are interested. It's launching in just
a couple of days. Thank you so much, here's the video.
Wow! I don't know how to dress like an adult woman.
Chris lost his drone. I've never seen a stool like this.
Oh good, she's finally done. Okay.
That's my shoes! The hiking boots that I got from here last time, they're really good quality and
everything but they weren't good for my feet at all. They were way too hard and it just hurt like
crazy and it had no flexibility in the in the sole so I kept tripping over. So I'm on the lookout for
a different pair. Always try to buy from secondhand stores as much as possible. Better for everyone,
the environment, it's more sustainable. Oh these are nice. I used to come here all the time when
I was younger. There's just so much noise and so many people. Sensory overload. Get it, get it, get it, get it.
So I've decided that I don't know how to dress like an adult woman. I'm wearing overalls and
converse and I basically just wear t-shirts and shorts and converse everywhere. I may
be having like a kind of another big opportunity thing, filming thing, coming up in like a month
or so and I know I'm gonna need like regular clothes for it but and I haven't needed to dress
you know business casual ever really in my life but especially now because of coronavirus I don't
really go out very much. Like what what shoes do you wear with long pants that are not jeans?
I don't know, I don't own those shoes. My confession of the vlog is I have never bought one of these
before my entire almost seven years in Japan. Oh my god, it's a hamster. Is it? Yeah, it is. Yeah, hamster and pancake.
Wow, there's so many hamster stuff. So much. Cutie. Oh, they have like canned food you can put as like
cream on your finger. Oh, there's a fabric softener. Just what I've always wanted. A tent for Mochi. Oh, that's cute.
Kind of fun. I understand why people enjoy it. Yeah. Oh, it's a sleeping kitty.
Yay, you can put the cable underneath it. That's cute.
I can kind of see how people like get addicted to these things. It's very fun.
Okay, a little big stretch. Big stretch, little ham.
I'm so sorry.
That would be really cute. For decades it's been known that hamsters have a particular fondness for alcohol.
What? A rather insane tolerance to booze and often failing to act drunk.
Holy ----, Mochi. Do you want a drink? Should I pour you one?
So I am struggling right now. I don't really have like a real reason to complain because it
doesn't sound like a big enough issue for most people's problems, I suppose. I'm struggling so
much with time and where to put my time and where to... I feel like I'm always disappointing everyone.
I feel like I'm just a disappointment to so many people and you know, all of my time
at the moment is just like work. I'm either at work, like my job job, which I love. I'm thinking
of this work, like this YouTube work and because all of my time is is centered around that, I don't
have any time for my friends in Australia and my family in Australia and like the longer I'm away
from them the more I just feel like I'm missing and then the longer I don't talk to them
the more I feel like I'm I'm like putting off talking to them because it makes me feel sadder
but then time passes and then time passes and I see my niece or my nephew and they're so much older
now they're walking around and talking and
what if they don't remember me?
I guess I am really homesick and that's just like a really sad cherry on top of a stressful Sunday
but yeah, I don't know. It felt good to talk about it at least in this video. I don't know how much
of this I'm going to keep in the video, I just felt like I needed to sit down and talk about
this because it doesn't it doesn't feel right to just have like my everyday life in Japan video
and then it's all like happy and fun and sunshine and mochi. This is how I feel at the moment,
this is how I've been feeling at the moment. Just a lot of stress but yeah, that's me.
Anyway, time to edit I guess.
Shortly after this video was taken, Chris crashed his drone
somewhere around these waterfalls and yeah, long story short, Chris and I had to walk from like 500
meters away over giant rocks that were so big and at one point we got separated and let's just say
I freaked out like crazy because at one point Chris and I got separated and I couldn't see him
or hear from him. There was so much gushing water and I thought that he had died and I didn't know
what to do. Luckily he didn't die though, it's all fine. But yeah, it ended up being an extremely
stressful afternoon just trying to find his drone but we did find it in the end and actually it was
the lights were still on somehow but I mean it definitely needed some repairs. I really hope that
you enjoyed this video, something a little bit different. This is footage that I've been sitting
on for clearly a very long time because it's winter now here in Japan but I hope that you
enjoyed it nonetheless and also please make sure to go check out the link for my travel with me
trip in Japan of May 2023. I'm so freaking excited for this and I really think you're going to love
