
Making Cheese, Butter & Sunflower Bread in the Highlands

Today we are high up in the mountains. Like every year, we spend the spring and summer months living in the highland pasture, surrounded by fresh air, green meadows, and the simple rhythm of rural life. This morning, as soon as we woke up, my mother milked the cows. With that fresh, warm milk I prepared a soft dough and mixed in some sunflower seeds to give it a delicious, nutty flavor.
