Sedge Stitch | How to Crochet | BEAUTIFUL crochet stitch for blankets!

The Sedge Stitch is a classic stitch pattern that is worked using basic crochet stitches. Unlike the Suzette stitch which uses only the single and double crochet, the Sedge Stitch crochet pattern will use the single, half and double crochet stitches.

I love this stitch pattern! It creates a solid double sided texture that is pretty in blankets, washcloths, cardigans and so much more. Use it in almost any crochet project in a single colour or in many.

This crochet pattern is written using American crochet terms.

For this tutorial I will be using a small amount of a worsted weight yarn in a single colour and a 5mm crochet hook.
