YIT interviewed the renowned historical writer Wu Gou, who is also a researcher of the Song dynasty. He told us the Song dynasty was the most “modern” dynasty. Its people had the highest income during the entire history, no curfew, various night entertainment, and they were free to travel anywhere when they felt like it.
