SpaceX's Big Solution to Solve Blue Origin New Glenn TROUBLE!
No launchpad. No rocket. And a $3.4 billion lunar lander sitting in a hangar with nowhere to go. Blue Origin just hit the worst moment in its history — and this isn't just a Blue Origin problem anymore. Experts are already saying this explosion could delay NASA's entire Artemis Moon Base program by at least a year. And here's the part nobody's talking about: there's actually a way out. One vehicle exists that could physically swallow Blue Moon Mark 1 whole and still get it to the Moon — and that vehicle belongs to SpaceX. Yes, the same Elon Musk who's been competing against Jeff Bezos for years might be the only person on Earth who can save him right now. But what is that vehicle? And is this actually realistic? Let's break it down.

24 hours after the explosion, Launch Complex 36 looks like a warzone.
One of the two lightning towers — standing 183 meters tall — has collapsed entirely, reduced to a heap of twisted metal draped across pipes and structural supports below. The second tower is still standing, barely — one of its base legs destroyed near the foundation, leaving the entire structure unstable and too dangerous for workers to approach.
The transporter-erector — a 1,800-ton machine that both moved and raised New Glenn to vertical — is essentially gone. What remains lies scattered across the pad, portions of it collapsed into the flame trench below. The concrete roof shielding the flame diverter has caved in completely, burying the deluge water system underneath. The nearest building to the pad lost part of its roof and two full walls facing the blast.

Fuel and water pipelines on both sides of the pad are scorched and warped. Several nearby propellant tanks are blackened. And inside the integration facility — still standing — booster "Never Tell Me the Odds" was almost certainly damaged by the shockwave.
Metal fragments and chunks of concrete are scattered across the surrounding area. Some have pierced through tents set up nearby. Others may drift toward the coastline in the coming days — which is why Blue Origin posted a warning asking people not to touch any debris they find.
Whether anyone listens is another question. Pieces of a rocket that just exploded on a launch pad have a way of becoming collector's items.
The consequences are already clear — and they're severe.
