Sometimes we need to make time for the things that take time: lunching with friends, taking time to listen and reflect; enjoying the moments of calm at the cricket pavilion where taking tea and watching and waiting are all part of the rhythm of the summer; sensing the beauty of the vine and the quiet rebellion of English wine which raises a challenge to the climate and produces a world class vintage.

Today, we have a treat in store - not only lunch at Leah Lane's Mulberry House (if you like homes and interiors and whimsical fashion, you're already familiar with her beautiful Instagram page) - but also a tour of a Cotswold vineyard, between Tetbury and Stroud, and a sunny afternoon of cricket at Marlborough College.
