A Bull Moose Sparring Match That Turned Aggressive #wildlife #nature #moose

Bulls sparring. It's always such a treat to see. Sparring is usually very friendly. It's just practice. All bulls sparring. Bulls with young, dominant to dominant, from the time the velvet comes off, throughout the rut, and well after it. And the sound of sparring bulls will bring in other bulls. Everybody wants in on this party, but that newcomer back there is not about to interject himself into this big boy party because I think he's a little intimidated. Mac sure looks intimidating. Cowboy's no slouch. This was a couple of years ago when Cowboy was smaller than Mac. This is during the rut and sometimes even a friendly practice session. He can get a little out of hand. Now here's an example of a younger bull being drawn to the sound of clanking antlers. That is 23 with Pinhead. Pinhead only had one antler. Mac has since retired. He's the bull on the right. He's given up sparring because 23 marched in and that ended that. But it was cute that little Pinhead thought for a second that he wanted to spar with the big boys. And that's how sparring goes.
