United s TOP 10 Moments 2025 26 Season Review

Manchester United decides to make five changes today, including Senna Lomans, the Belgian who comes in to make his Manchester United debut, his Premier League debut after joining from Royal Antwerp. Managed 10 clean sheets in 44 appearances for Royal Antwerp last season. Siddiqui out now to the right wing to pick out Bertrand Traore. Lays it into the path of Granit Xhaka. Xhaka's going to have a go from distance. Forces the save from Senna Lomans, who gets down well to his left-hand side. Ball into the penalty area. It's going to be claimed by Senna Lomans. Really good claim from the Belgian. Gets up highest with plenty of bodies around him. Plucks it out of the sky. That's a good touch from Sunderland. They're up to the edge of the penalty area. Looking to get this into Talby. Talby forces the save from Senna Lomans, makes himself big. It's straight at him, but he has to deal with it. And he knocks it out of play for a throw-in. Sunderland in possession. Clipped into the box where Senna Lomans comes out. Claims, dives on top of the ball and another cheer goes around Old Trafford. Following in his father's footsteps, Jack Fletcher is set to make his full Manchester United debut. He's set to make his Premier League debut and becomes Academy graduate number 255. Academy graduate number 256 coming for Manchester United. As Shea Lacey is given the nods. Lenny Yoro makes way and Manchester United hand another debut out at Villa Park just before Christmas. It's another brilliant Christmas gift to give to another youngster. Bendito Mantato enters the fray. Another Academy graduate making another debut. Congratulations to Bendito Mantato. It's been some year for him. Under-17s, World Cup in Qatar. And now on the big stage at Old Trafford. Kobi Meinu is going to leave the field to be replaced by Tyler Fletcher. And that is belting news. Tyler Fletcher gets himself onto the field. Kobi Meinu, one Academy graduate, makes way for another. And Tyler Fletcher onto the field for Manchester United. And that is excellent to see. Noos Mazraoui, down the right-hand side for Umbermo. Flicks it round the corner to Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes brings it under control. Stays away from Alejandro Garnacho. Gets past him in actual fact to the byline. Balls it back into the area. United in the front. Mateus Cunha. What a cross from Bruno Fernandes. 18th assist of the Premier League season. For the 8th goal of the Premier League season for Mateus Cunha. First goal since Aston Villa. And Mateus Cunha gives the Reds the lead at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea 0, Manchester United 1. Patrick Dorgu, side left. Gets it back to Bruno Fernandes. Lifts it back to Patrick Dorgu. Takes it with him. Dorgu's left-footed effort. Oh, it's a screamer. Patrick Dorgu pops up again. But that is of the highest, highest quality from the Dane. Rattled home. Off the underside of the crossbar. As good as it gets from Patrick Dorgu. Arsenal 1, United 2. A screamer from Patrick Dorgu. It's unbelievable from United. I mean, the possession leading up to it. As we said, we were probing. But it took somebody. And it was Patrick Dorgu to come inside. Find a little bit of link-up play. With Bruno Fernandes. Couple of passes. And then it just sat up so nicely for him to hit. And he does. He hits it. In off the bar. It stunned the Arsenal players. It stunned the Arsenal stadium. And what a finish. It's every player in and around the penalty area. Outswing and delivery. And it comes in. And guess who? Casemiro from a corner. Gives Manchester United the lead. The Brazilian does it again. Seventh Premier League goal of the season. And it's one that puts United in front. How big could that be in the race for the Champions League? Right arm raised by Bruno Fernandes. Delivers right-footed. Lifted towards the back post. It's Harry Maguire that's going to meet it. Knots it back across goal. Casemiro! Premier League season. Casemiro proving to be inevitable in the penalty area. And he gives Manchester United a 1-0 lead. And Casemiro about to be presented by Omar Berrada. With his own framed shirt in front of his family. And another player that we have run out of superlatives for them. Well, especially this season. I mean, everybody knew what a wonderful footballer he was. But for Manchester United to have benefited. And none more so than we've seen this year. Ball downfield from Manchester United. Shashko brings it down on his chest. Bruno Fernandes takes over. Now needs an option. Finds it in Cunha. Through. Chance here for Cunha! Matheus Cunha has fired home for Manchester United. And that is top draw from the Brazilian. An absolute worldie to give Manchester United the lead again. Two high-quality goals. That one from Cunha. The pick of the bunch. Arsenal 2. United 3. Matheus Cunha. Here is Bruno Fernandes' corner. Whipped in. And Bruno Fernandes writes his name in their history books. Assist maker. Chance creator. Bruno Fernandes. 21 assists for the Premier League season. Fired home by Patrick Dorgoo's forehead. Off the underside of the crossbar. Brighton 0. United 1. Well, the delivery is right on the money. Absolutely perfect for Patrick Dorgoo to go and attack that. Bruno Fernandes. With the left-wing corner for Manchester United. Pulls it low to... Brian Obama takes a big deflection. I thought he had carried it goalwards. Puts it towards the back post. And we've got a player! It's big game player! Manchester United retake the lead. And that bit steps up to the plate for Manchester United once more. Liverpool 1. Manchester United 2. Wow. Those United fans are going berserk. Dorgoo wriggles away from the challenge of N'Gomoa and finds Kobe Meunier again. Meunier dead centre of the Liverpool half. Slides it forward to Matthias Kuhnje. Kuhnje looking for a ball between the lines. Picks out Luke Shaw. Luke Shaw to the byline. Cross towards the back post. And that gets there. Knotted down. Cleared away to the edge of the penalty area. MEUNIER! GRADUATE! LIVERPOOL! And what a way to celebrate a brand new contract for the Stratford end. Manchester United 3. Liverpool 2. KOBE MEUNIER! Well, he did have an impact, Patrick Dorgoo, because he set that little motion of play going. And when Bruno Fernandes slips that ball inside to Luke Shaw, he picks out Ahmad at the back post beautifully. And he was aware of where Kobe Meunier is, where all midfielders, really, really good midfielders like he is, are waiting. Ray and Chirky standing over it. Manchester City with numbers inside the penalty area. It is lifted into the box where it's headed away with authority from Harry Maguire. Brilliant from Mbumo to flick it round the corner to Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes got option. Right left centre. Finds Mbumo in the area. MEUNIER! Manchester United! A cutting counter-attack! Reminiscent of times gone by. One end of the field to the other. Brilliant from Fernandes. The finish from Manchester United's top scorer is excellent. Brian Mbumo gives Manchester United the lead in the derby. Manchester United 1. Manchester City 0. Oh, my God. Ben's knocked me water over. I do apologise. There's all sorts going on. Oh, what a mess you've made. But we don't care a jot. Matthias Kuhnje finds Ahmad. Ahmad wheels away and then digs a reverse pass out to Matthias Kuhnje down the right-hand side. Kuhnje taking on O'Reilly. Looks to get the cross in. DORGU! 2-0! Matthias Kuhnje. It's fantastic. He works his socks off. He drills a brilliant cross in. And Patrick Dorgu arriving in the penalty area. Smashes home for his second of the season. Absolutely brilliant at the Stretford end. And Manchester United in the 198th derby deservedly lead Manchester City by two goals to nil. What a goal. Michael, I bet you've had crazier weeks, but I'm not sure you can count them on more than one hand. No, I've had some crazy weeks at the time. To be honest, it wasn't actually a crazy week, really. I have to say, it's kind of felt controlled. It's kind of felt a bit normal, to be honest. I know from the outside it always looks very different to what it's like. Everyone at the club's been so good. My coaching staff, the backroom staff, the players have been great. So it hasn't actually been the world win that, probably, it seems. Of course, we had a compressed kind of time to get the team and the players ready for today. And they've been unbelievable this week, I have to say. To be able to cope with the information and cope with a new kind of way and new people and then to put them emotionally in a game like that, to put it together in the way they did it, I think a lot of credit needs to go to them.
