We're in Big Sky, Montana with Bentley for the FAT International Ice Race.
We're here for three things. Cool cars, chill vibes, and hot laps. Let's get started.
Over that hill are 100 of the coolest race cars I've ever seen. But before we get there...
Cars and coffee, Big Sky style. We're at the Cars and Coffee on the evening before the race.
The coolest people, the coolest cars, like this thing. Just keeping it casual,
just your normal lineup of cars. Porsche 959, the car 911, an Enzo, chillin'.
Porsche, Porsche, Porsche, Singer Porsche. Porsche, Porsche, Porsche.
All right, in addition to the Speed 6 and the Super Sports, Bentley brought out this thing,
the Bentayga X Concept. It's based on a Bentayga Speed, 650 horsepower. This one is a little bit
more monstrous. Custom FAT Bentayga wheels commissioned from Brixton Forged. Big tires
and the cherry on top. Potentially the coolest part of it, on top of the roof rack, we have the
FAT Karting League custom go-kart specifically optioned for this car. This thing was made
specifically to announce the multi-year partnership between Bentley and the FAT
Ice Race. A very exciting concept for a very exciting friendship.
Born in the 50s in Zellamsee, the FAT Ice Race is the legendary revival of Porsche's heritage.
Pure chaos on ice, classic icons and modern monsters that cost millions of dollars
sliding sideways in the mountains of Montana.
In the snow! Alfa Romeo 6C 1750, Lancia Aurelia B20 Ford GT, Ferrari 250 short wheelbase Berlinetta,
Team Ikezawa, Lancia Delta Integrale. Team principal for Team Ikezawa is the creative
director of Bentley. Pretty cool multitask if you ask me. There's a great community spirit,
the cars are brilliant. Yeah, I just want to make Bentley sexy again. You don't have to be a car fan
or even a racing fan. It's just got a good vibe, there's great music, there's great visuals.
I helped push a Ferrari Enzo out of the snow earlier today. You don't get to do that every
day. That's pretty sad. Nerve-wracking. So how would you describe the FAT Ice Race?
It's so cool. I've never been in an environment like this. I'm like full-on JDM tuna world and
for me to be out here is super cool. Different scene for sure, a bunch of exotics and Porsches
and I'm super excited. It's the event to be at for the winner. Flying for the Alpha J's. Thank
you to them for bringing those. That's sick. This isn't a race, this is a party where people can
watch others play around in their cars. The more you try to think of it as a real race,
the less fun you're going to have. Everyone that I know from Car Universe, from Europe,
from all over the US, they're all here. Those are fun. My next project needs to be making a
Rally Bentley. It may or may not have been intentional. We'll call it unintentional.
Such a unique event because there's so much variety of vehicles and people and it brings
together people that may not be here anyways. You're driving the Super Sports. How do you like
it? It's so fun, super fun. I've only driven one Bentley before and this is a cherry on top. The
fact that it has a handbrake and it's named Mildred, it's incredible. This is a 1928 Chevy
with a ZR1 LS9 in it. It's got 900 horsepower. I don't know why the F I'm driving it in the snow.
This is the first time that we have Ice Race in Montana and I think we nailed it. I think
everybody is bringing fun. I had a few beers already. He's having fun. The fact that he's
here makes my 18-year-old self be very happy. The most important thing about the event that
this man creates is that it's a party that happens to have some cars there and we don't
miss selling. You turn up for the vibe, you have a great time and ultimately, even if you love
driving, you want to get the driving over to get the beer in. It's like motorsport back in the
old days. People just having fun with it and literally doing something. If you're good at it,
you're going to win. I'm actually wasting valuable drinking time here. I'll let you
get back to it. Cheers, thank you. It's a pretty wild experience riding in a pre-war Bentley on
the road in any capacity. Let's see how crazy it is on a quarter mile banked ice track. How
nervous are you to put it in the wall? Let's not think about the walls. Well,
I think one of us should think about the walls a little bit.
Here we go. Red Ice Track, Bentley. Speed six. Yeah. I mean, I imagine this is the most fun car
to do this in.
I mean, this is such a unique experience. I will never live that ever again. Congratulations.
Dude, it was amazing. It was so fun. It was not fast, but it was fun. Yeah, not fast,
but very fun. We got some cheers. Yeah, we did. Crowd favorite for sure. There's like so many
multi-million dollar cars here, but everybody wants a picture of this thing. All the kids
are waving at this thing. Great job, WO Bentley. You built a good one. Bentley's doing a lot of
cool stuff right now. That video where they let Travis Pastrana rip the new Supersports around
their factory. Leah Block is here driving that same car. They hired me. Overall, they're doing
a lot of stuff to really engage with an enthusiast base and remind people that Bentleys are fast,
they're gnarly, and they're fun. And not in a like, oh, I'm fun kind of way. And like this kind of way.
