Camping & Fishing at Remote Mountain Lake︱Sheep Everywhere!

Hi, I'm Sophie. I'm still here in beautiful Norway. Today I am going to a different elevation to find a beautiful spot to pitch my tent and spend the night. I hope you will follow my journey. Today we are raising a toast with some lovely friends. They are everywhere. Yesterday we climbed Trolltunga, the famous cliff in Norway. It is a 20 km high, with a little more than 800 meters of influence. Our hands are a bit tired today. I also made a video from that height. Be careful not to look at it if you haven't already seen it. Here we have one of the DNT cabins. These cabins are located throughout Norway. And you can use them when you raise them. I think you have to make a small payment. But they've always been a very beautiful place. I mean, look at this place. So we take the route around the lake here. I'm trying to find a combat site. Maybe right here. Or on the other side of this elevation. We'll have to see what we can find. It's such a beautiful day. The weather is fantastic. We have also packed our bathing suit and a fishing reel. Maybe there are fish in this lake. I have now started looking for a campsite. This could be a very beautiful place. But there's also a little bit of water out here. We're going to take a victory lap. But it is definitely a good choice. There are so many beautiful campsites. But it's a little bit too much water, I think. I think we should take this place. Her. It's a bit watery. But it's just so beautiful. So I think it will be worth it. This is good soil, this here. Are you sure? Yes. The tent is now set up, so our campsite is ready. I bought two new things before this trip to Norway. It was this tent. A raspberry tent, which I've always dreamed of. I also bought this small portable charger from Robens. I am really glad about both things. I love how exciting the tent is. I also love that I have a little group of friends. So I can sit inside the tent. I am not sponsored by anyone. I just love my new things. I haven't had the chance to go fishing since we arrived in Norway. So I think now is the time. I hope there are some fish in the water. Even though there aren't any fish, it's still nice just to sit with your fishing rod and watch the water. I'm going to wear this one. We're all ready to go fishing. I wasn't very happy with my fishing. Maybe I'll continue later. Time to cook a little dinner. Today I have Chicken Tikka Masala. It's one of my favorites. Of these urgent questions. And it should be clear now. That was really good. Recommends 10 out of 10. It was so good. After a good dinner, we're just sitting here by the water. We see some dogs on the other side. There are dogs everywhere here in Norway. And they all have bells around their necks. So you can always hear them when they come. I know they eat anything they can find. So I hope they don't come near our tent. I am working on my citation project. I'm trying to mention a sharp one. I'm not the quickest narrator. But it's really nice to sit here and mention. With this beautiful view. I'll try my luck again with the fishing pole. It's a bit later in the evening now. No fish. Well, at least it's a beautiful evening. I just met a Norwegian man. He also fished. So I asked him if there were any fish in this lake. And he said there would be. But he hasn't had any luck either. Maybe the fish are just a bit happy today. We have left the cold wind outside the tent. And we have a bag of chips for dessert. Mexican fiesta. Yes. Not the best taste. But it's okay. Yes, at least it was nice. Everything is so expensive here in Norway. I think we're ready to go to bed now. Good night. See you in the morning. Good morning from the tent. I woke up this morning with a dog. Just circling around inside the tent. It's still standing out there. The bear eats a little grass. But we had to get up and make sure it didn't eat inside the tent. Maybe that's what they call the Norwegian alarm clock. Now I'm going to make some morning coffee. It's still in my sleeping bag. We just heard some air coming from here. The clouds look quite dark. So I think maybe we should just quickly unpack and go back to the car. Airports here in Norway can be pretty wild. So we don't want to be held in it. I think the dog is telling us that it's time to go. We took their place. Now we're all packed up and ready to go back to the car. Before you leave your place, always remember to check that you're not leaving any trees behind. The Norwegian man who fished last night is camping right here, next to us. It was actually the last night we spent in the tent. We have now paid for a cabin for the next five days, during which we will be staying together with some family. It's going to be super cozy. We were just thinking about fishing, and we have a small cannon we can sell. Yes, just had a quick moment. It has started to rain. So it was very good that we were super quick to unpack everything and leave. Even though it was raining, the landscape here in Norway is just so beautiful. I'm really tired of having to go home in five days. But I just want to enjoy it while we're here. On our way back to the car, we encountered many men. They are much larger than the men we have in Denmark. They are very beautiful, but they are also very territorial and defend their area. I got one with my phone. You can see here that he, or perhaps she, is very smoked. So we just took a group of men who told us it's not men. They called them Lehmænd in Norwegian. I'm not sure what it is. But they are still beautiful. Anyway, it's something like a hamster. So now we've learned it. It was right here we arrived. On the other side of this small island. It was a bit sad that we had to unpack so quickly because of the water. Because mornings in the tent are my favorites. I love a long morning where you can just sit and enjoy your coffee. Take as much time as you want. And especially because it was the last morning I spent in the tent here in Norway. It feels especially sad. This height has become a bit tight, without any breakfast.
