Easy Apricot Tart 🍑
Ingredients
1 sheet ready-made pie dough
8–10 apricots, halved
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp sugar (brown or white)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
Method Mix the cornstarch, sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the dough, arrange the apricots closely on top, then lightly sprinkle with the remaining mixture. Fold the edges, brush with egg, and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 30–35 minutes, until golden.
Optional Dust with powdered sugar after cooling, or drizzle with your favorite syrup or a light sugar glaze.
