This video provides a curated list of nine recommended watches to purchase during the AliExpress summer sale. The selection covers a wide range of styles, from rugged tool watches and vintage homages to elegant dress pieces, focusing on high value-for-money options that offer impressive finishing and reliability at affordable price points.
Okay so the Aliexpress summer sale starts on June 1st and let's be honest if you're watching this
video you already know you want to buy a watch which means it's probably too late for your
wallet. Now since you're going to be buying a watch anyway you might as well go for a watch
that you know is going to put a smile on your face every time you wear it on the wrist. I've
got nine watches today to show you that I think fit that bill. Now I've either reviewed or owned
most of the watches that I'm going to show you today but I'm also including a few new ones that
I think are going to go into my personal shopping cart. I'm also going to leave links to every
single watch I'm featuring today in the description if you're planning to pick any of them up.
Now kicking things off we have the new Adizdive GMT. Adizdive is easily one of my favorite sub
$100 brands on the platform. They consistently punch above their weight and I think they've
nailed it again with this new release. To me this looks like the perfect summer vacation watch.
You're getting a GMT function to track a second time zone, a couple of fun colorful dial options,
and a lovely Grand Seiko inspired case design. And the best part you're getting all of this for only
$65. I mean at that price point there's really not much to think about. Next up I have a watch
that's become my absolute grab-and-go piece in my personal collection. The watchdives 5513Q.
This is a vintage Submariner homage that gets so many things right. Great looks, killer price,
and a VH31 MegaQuad movement that sweeps like an automatic. But the real icing on the cake
is the quality of the case finishing. Seriously you're not going to find a case that's better
finished than this at the $110 mark. I mean just look at that crisp polished bevel running down the
top of the lugs. If you want an affordable watch that doesn't look or feel cheap, this watchdive
is the one to get. And if you prefer a mechanical movement, they also offer this watch in a PT5000
or Miota 9015 version as well. Now next up we have a watch that I've owned for a while but I still
haven't gotten around to reviewing. The Chronos L6040. It's a beautiful homage to the Grand Seiko
White Birch. For around $280, you're getting finishing that rival San Martin, gorgeous dial
textures, and a few different movement options. And that's not all. They even offer it in both
the 36mm and 38mm case size. So there really is something for every wrist size out there.
If you've always lusted for a White Birch from Grand Seiko but you don't want to drop close to
five figures on one, this is easily the best alternative on the market right now. But if
you're looking for something a bit more robust for the summer, look no further than the Militado ML20.
This is a dive watch heavily inspired by the Zyn U50 and it looks just as bulletproof as the
original. You get that rugged utilitarian design with a matte bead-blasted finish. And this looks
like the absolute definition of what I consider a tool watch. It has a highly legible dial,
a crisp tactile bezel, and a reliable workhorse movement. Coming in at around $180, it's at a
price point where you won't actually be scared to take it out into the wild and use it like an
actual tool watch. Next up, we have the new Black Bay 54 homage by Octopus Kraken. I think this brand
makes the absolute best two-door homages on AliExpress and this new release keeps that streak
going. I've had this for a couple of weeks now and I just can't stop wearing it. It's got a lovely set
of dimensions, incredible fit and finish, and a really comfortable bracelet. It's one of those
watches you forget is even on your wrist. If you like the Black Bay 54 but you don't want to spend
two-door money, this watch is definitely going to scratch that itch for $240. Now, if you like the
Black Bay 54 design but you want something that's a bit less of a photocopy, this new San Martin
SN0138 has you covered. It takes those Black Bay 58 design cues but tweaks them to create something
that's a little bit more unique. The new dial variations give the watch a nice pop of color
without making it look too playful. For around $310, you're getting that legendary San Martin
build quality and case finishing and one of the best bracelets in the sub $1,000 mark. Next up,
we've got the San Martin SN0144 which is an incredible gutter watch for $360. When I reviewed
the Mother of Pearl version a while back, I had two main complaints. I wanted a simpler dial color
and a smaller case size. They practically answered my prayers a few months ago with some stunning
enamel dials, but they only offered them at 39mm. Until now, because I just noticed that they
finally released the 36mm version of these watches. Yes, it sure took them a while, but I guess I'm
going to be snapping up one of the white or black dials in that 36mm case for myself this
summer sale. This next watch is a little bit different. This new model from Farasuit plays
into that retro, elegant square case look that you'll typically find from watches like Cartier
and JLC. If you're looking for something more classy around the $280 mark, this watch absolutely
looks the part. Farasuit has some of the best finished movements under $1,000. I noticed this
when I was reviewing one of their watches a couple of months back. And I gotta say, I think they've
done it again here too, because just look at that movement through the display case back. It looks
absolutely stunning. Okay, finally, there's no way I could finish this list without including
one of the best watches I've handled from AliExpress, the X-Dow Warrior. This is one of the
few pieces that completely blew me away the second I unboxed it. The fit and finish on the case and
bracelet are flawless, the dial pattern is incredibly intricate, and the AR coating in the
crystal is so clear, it literally looks invisible. If you hit the logo, you could easily convince
someone that this $340 watch costs well above $1,000, or maybe even more than that. Besides
the San Martin SN0144, if you want to see how good Chinese watchmaking is right now, this is
probably the watch that I recommend for you to check out. And there you go, those are my nine
watches that I recommend for this year's AliExpress Summer Sale. Are any of these watches on your list?
