⛷ Alpine Skiing Bejing 2022 | Women's Cmbined Highlights!

Esther Ledecky of the Czech Republic. Heavens above, that is an excellent ski from Ledecky. Another great jump off the cliff jump and she is our new leader by Shea of Austria. First Olympic Winter Games for her. Yeah, nice impatient on that right ski and comes back tight to the gate. It's nicely done from Shea. Tucks for the line 132.43. She's inside by a hundredth of a second. It's Ramona Siebenhofer of Austria. Second Olympic Winter Games for her. Very smooth turn as she approached. Final time check has her within a quarter of a second. And it's Christine Shea of Austria who will take a one one hundredth of a second advantage into off the pace. Holtner and Gisin who were the other medalists in Pyeongchang got a bit of work to do. Michaela Schifrin on track and trouble for Schifrin and she's out. And her woes continue at Beijing 2022. Federica Brignone of Italy. Fourth Olympic Winter Games for her. Yeah, making some nice slalom turns here. Finding a good rhythm, but it's about keeping that under control. And she's got the green light. Italy have never medaled in the women's alpine combined. Brignone lucky to take it away from Ledecka 228.32. She's in. Wendy Holtner of Switzerland. Now the start needs to find three tenths of a second on Federica Brignone of Italy. And this is where she really has to draw on her slalom skills, taking that risk of trusting the skis in the turn. Holtner for the line and Holtner leads by eight tenths. Oh, it's a cracking second run for Wendy Holtner. The defending champion, Michelle Gisin, needs to find just one one hundredth of a second on our leader, Wendy Holtner on the slalom leg. Certainly not making any apparent errors, and she's found speed in the middle section. Point two seven. But she has to stay on pace with what Holtner just put down. She floats nicely into the top of that hairpin and then sets herself up. Those edges strong in the turns. Gisin stops the clock. One second inside. Wendy Holtner to go into the gold medal position. Into that water ski. That was an incredible ski. How smooth she releases the turn. That's where she found that's where you find that extra speed from one turn to the next.
