Visiting Jamaica as a Family

Story do you want to tell them where we're at? Tell them. She is one tired little girl. But we're in Jamaica. We made it to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It looks amazing here. Bella has loved the joke, Jamaican me crazy. Jamaican me crazy. I've heard that for the last week. I am just blown away by this property. It's beautiful. This place we are staying at, it's just insane. It's called Beyond the Sea and let me tell you, I want to be in the sea right now. I don't want to be beyond it. When we were flying over, the water was crystal blue and I've heard the food's amazing so I'm pretty pumped about that. Story is downing this fruit plate that this hotel gave us. Let's get together and be alright. Here you go. If you get to a resort or property and they already have the baby monitor set up on Story's crib, bonus points for that. This is the living room. Upstairs is our rooms and the best part out of this whole place, you gotta look at this view. I'm so pumped because I brought my drone so you better believe I'm gonna get my drone up and get a bunch of footage of this place, the ocean, the property. When we take the boat out tomorrow, I'm gonna get my drone up. I'm pumped. I'm excited to be here right now. In-N-Out burger who? Jamaican me crazy burger. I got the wings though, baby. Whenever we travel, one of our most favorite things to do is get out on the water, go explore. I think it's one of the best ways to see the island and look around and see everything. So we just pulled into the Yacht Club and we have rented a boat for the next four hours and we're gonna go and see all of Jamaica and go explore the beautiful water. Story's very first boat day. I'm excited to see her face on the boat. We just jumped in the water to go snorkeling. The water is just, oh my gosh, it's so blue, it's so clear. I actually saw an eagle ray down there, which is pretty epic. Story fell asleep. I think I'll show you that. It's the cutest thing ever. All right, so this little girl woke up. She had a good little nap. Bella got the cutest video on her phone. We have to put the video right here. We just pulled up back to the dock. We're getting some food. I'm pretty pumped to eat. Then I'll just keep cruising, keep enjoying the day. We have a new captain on this boat. New captain. Captain Storidor. Storidor. Hey, Captain Story. Say hi, Captain. Story loved it and this was an unexpected little surprise, but we had our own personal photographer on the boat, so we got to pop up. Oh, Story's saying hi, but we're gonna pop up our five favorite photos she took right here. It was a good time. Beautiful water out here. We're headed down to the beach. We got Ryan, the best driver in all of Jamaica, taking us around. He's taking us everywhere, everywhere on the island. How are the girls doing in the back? We're doing good. We're pumped to get to the beach. I love the beaches here. The water's so blue, so let's go to the beach. All right, so anywhere you see red, gold, and green, it's Rastafari in Jamaica, all right? That's one love, like Bob Marley said. Let's get together and feel all right. I like Bella said in the car, it is very... I'm sitting here flying the drone right now. I'm just amazed at how blue this water is. Bella just wrapped up Story in a blanket and she started walking down the beach. Guarantee within five minutes, Story's gonna be asleep. How can you not fall asleep? The waves, the wind, the fresh air. It's like the perfect little nap area for a baby. Uh-oh, low battery. Time to bring her in. I just got the drone up for the second time, put the second battery in it. I gotta find an eagle ray and look at that, baby. I found one. Wow, that thing is beauty. Let's go. That was epic. Found an eagle ray, baby. Bella literally just built a little bed in the sand for Story, laid her down, and she stayed asleep. She just laid in the sand, crashed out, wrapped up in a towel. Guess it's time for a little family nap on the beach. I was just hanging out and then out of nowhere, Bella and Story came down in their swimsuits and they were running out to the pool. So I'm all ready. I'm gonna head out to the pool right now. You can literally just look. The pool is right outside our front door. So I'm pumped. Let's go swim. Now we're all snuggly. Oh, that was a fun little swim session. Did you like it, Story? Oh yeah. They always have good music playing in the background. Good vibes. Story's a little water girl. Do you like that, baby? We like Jamaica. Gotta take care of my two girls. I was like, where's my towel? All nice and warm, covered in a towel. I appreciate that. This girl has had the day, the boat, the water. She is gonna sleep good tonight. She's tired. Best day ever. Fun day, huh? We love Jamaica. Are you dance partying? What's really cool about this hotel is we're nestled in a hill. So we're surrounded by green trees, but you can see the blue water out there. And we're in a local area, so we get to pass a high school and all the kids are coming out. It's just such a cool, special place. And I'm so happy that we get to stay here at Beyond the Sea. It's like a magical little Jamaican paradise and I love it. Last night, we witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets. And so we're headed up right now to get a little lookout over the sunset. Something about this hotel reminds me a little bit of Santorini. I don't know if it's like the colors because everything's white and blue. Ooh, grease. I don't know. It gives me Santorini vibes and I kind of love it. Should we go to Santorini? We should. We will. We are going to Santorini. No ifs. This is where we need to watch the sunset. Kisses for dada. Kisses for mama. Let's talk about the top things that I've noticed about Jamaica so far that I love. Okay. The first thing that I love is the people here are so nice and they love story. They love babies. They love babies. Like they've treated her like their own, which is so sweet. Everybody's like always just like grabbing her, picking her up, and like kissing her, like being so sweet. She's probably been held by more people in the last like three days than the last like couple months. They're so sweet to her and I love it. Second thing is the food is amazing. The jerk chicken, they have fresh fish and shrimp, which I also love with good spices. The spices are amazing. And the third thing I would say is the water. Oh my gosh. It's warm. The water's so warm and it's just beautiful and blue. I mean Jamaica is looking pretty good right now. All right, story. Look, you can hold this for dada. All right. Mom went down the center. Oh, you would have won. You didn't see that, huh? I was going right here. Where? I just won. Did you? Yeah, wait. I just won. No. One more time. More strength. Come here, story girl. Will you push that down? Good job. We're tied. Come here, story. I'm on, baby. How did I miss it? Yeah. We are the champions. Dallin beat me. They saw us out here playing and so they brought out some cornhole. They knew I'm good at this so they're like, we'll help her out a little bit. I'm going to be blue because it matches my outfit. I go strategically based off like the vibe of the color. That's how I know it's going to be a good game. It's our last night here in Jamaica and we're sad. We don't want to be but the property gave story the cutest bedtime book to story Lambert from beyond the sea hotel Montego Bay, Jamaica 2024 and it's the one love Bob Marley book. Everyone loves Bob Marley here. Look, story. One love, one heart. Let's get together and feel all right. You have to sing it. One love. Daddy can't sing. That's a mom's job. Thank you guys so much. She's gonna love this book. Now it's time to go to bed. Tomorrow we got a travel day home and it's gonna be sad to leave Jamaica. Oh.
