Restoring Rivers with Forest Farming

The Skykomish Biocultural Restoration Field Station is utilizing agroforestry practices to restore habitat through the active tending of riparian forests for food, medicine, and plant propagation materials. In this way, the project is showing how land tending can be a catalyst for land regeneration and for reconnecting people to place.
