From Raw Land to First Harvest - Starting a Food Garden in the Middle of the Forest

We’re a couple working to turn our dream of a freer, more self-sufficient life close to nature into reality.

On a small piece of land deep in the forests of western Sweden, we’re slowly building our homestead from the ground up, while learning as we go.

In this video, we share our first season of gardening on this land, which has been left to overgrow for more than 80 years. From clearing and planting to our modest first harvests, we document the beginnings of restoring this space; while planting berries, fruit trees, and perennial vegetables for the seasons to come.
