Hymne by Vangelis (arr. Mary Keppler) - Harp Cover

The Greek composer Vangelis, famous for his electronic ambient music, published Hymne in 1979. It is the opening song in my modern ambient set list! It is a great melody on the harp, and the title bridges religious and secular in a creative way. Fun fact: After its debut on Vangelis’ album Opera Sauvage, Hymne later appeared in a scene in the Chariots of Fire movie (1981), which also featured a soundtrack full of Vangelis music.
