Representative Paul Santucci (R District 53 - Smithfield, Glocester) and Auditor General David Bergentino testify before the Senate Finance Committee in support of 2026 Senate Bill 3127. This legislation amends audit compliance requirements, giving the Auditor General the authority to oversee municipal contributions to Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) and requiring municipalities to fund these benefits at an actuarially determined rate to address long-term liabilities.
