Contemporary Malaysian House Transformation with Garden Courtyards | Brickwood Villa
Renovated Semi-Detached House is a contemporary renovation project in Kuala Lumpur that transforms a 35-year-old single-story home into a bright, open, and nature-connected residence. By increasing ceiling heights from 2.8 to 5.5 meters, reorganizing spatial layouts, and integrating private garden courtyards, the design improves ventilation, natural light, and privacy. The use of clay bricks and plywood creates a warm, honest material palette suited to Malaysia’s tropical climate.
