Hi Dressy and Kitties, Winnie here.
Today we're going to draw a watermelon with cinnamon roll.
So let's get started.
To draw this cute white puppy from Sanrio,
let's first start by drawing its eyes.
So I'm going to come right here and
draw a big oval.
I'm trying my best not to go too
dark because I want to color this in
blue. If you don't want
this harsh black line around it, you can just
go ahead and use a blue marker
to draw this part. But now that I have
this big oval in, I'm going to come
right across nice and wide
and say about right here.
And we're going to do the same thing.
Draw another big oval.
So now
my two ovals in, I'm going to
come in between the eyes
and today we're going to make the mouth a little bit different
because cinnamon roll is enjoying
a slice of watermelon.
So we are still going to draw that
wobbly mouth. So this is my center.
I'm going to come
let's see here, I'm going to come back
to the sides about right here
and I'll just draw a curve first.
Just a little bit easier for me.
Draw this curve first.
Now using that curve, I'm going to come right
into the center of that curve
and wobble towards the center
and wobble out.
And cap it off.
So this just hopefully looks like
cinnamon roll that has a chunk of watermelon
in his mouth.
So then from there, let's go ahead and
frame his face. So I'm going to come
to the top of my eye. I'm going to come out
say about right here.
Same thing on the other side.
About the same distance,
about right here. And we're going to
draw this oval-ish, well
this dumpling shape. So I'm going
to come right here and
go around the eye.
Same thing here.
And hopefully you're using
a pencil and make adjustments as you
need. Then I'm going to skip
a little bit of space.
Come about right here.
So if you're using a pencil, you would just
continue this and erase later.
But I'm going to come up
and about right here
towards my center.
It's going to be a little
bit pointier.
And then we can come down
just like the other side.
Okay, so we've created
the shape and then
I'm going to bring this in.
So like I said, it's like a dumpling shape.
So let's bring this down
and it's going to be a little bit flatter
towards the bottom.
Go back and forth and make sure
I'm going correctly here.
It's so delicate, right?
Okay, so now that we have
that, I'm stopping giving myself enough
space because in this area
kind of like the edge of this
eye, I'm going to come out
and about right here, I'm just going to go ahead and
draw the body.
Same thing here.
So I'm going to bring this in
a little bit more.
About right here.
So that's where my body is going to start.
And let's see, let's bring
this down a little bit more.
And right about there, I'm going to come
down, so about right here.
I'm going to go ahead and just draw the
hands first. So I'm going to angle
and then curve
and bring
it in. So same thing
here. Come in,
angle. Okay,
so this is so that the Moroccan holds a
slice of watermelon. So now that
we have that, I'm going to come back up
to the mouth really close to it, right in the
center area. And I'll just
draw two curves.
Going a little bit down
and using that in my
center, I'm going to come down about right
here.
I'm going to angle
and angle
my slice of watermelon.
And I'm going to come in between
the hands right here
and draw a curve
all the way across.
And let's come
back up for the different layers of
our watermelon. So let's come up
one,
then another curve.
And of course
we need some seeds, so come to the
center and
just draw these
teardrop shapes.
And I'll give a little
highlight.
Same thing here, I'll just add three
seeds
and one right there.
Okay, so now that we have that,
let's go back up and draw the
wonderful ears first, right? That makes
Cinnamon Roll who
he is. So now that I have
my shape in, I'm just going to come in here
and thicken this up.
I'm just kind of doing it very lightly
and sketchy,
so that I can make sure
I'm going correctly. Oh, and then whatever space
you have left, just go ahead and complete
it. Fill it up.
Okay.
So then from there, let's draw the ears.
So let's come up about
right here in this area.
And we're going to come out
and we're going to draw these
super cute ears that make
them look like a bunny.
But he's a puppy.
I know,
I was super confused first.
Okay, so now it's
brown and bring it in.
But I think these ears are long
and floppy because it allows them
to fly, right? I think that's the whole idea.
There, one
big long one. And let's do the
same thing on the other side.
Right here.
And
same thing.
Don't worry if it's not exactly
the same
angle. It could be higher or lower.
It's all up to you. But we just want it about
the same size. So
let's just bring this
so approximate
so I kind of know where I'm going.
Nice and round.
So I love
to make these points.
It's a lot easier for me because
I'm drawing pretty big.
It helps me to see where I'm
going.
Okay, there. So two big floppy
ears in. And then let's
go ahead and finish Cinnamoroll's body.
So I'm going to bring this down a little bit more.
And right about there
I'll stop and draw in these little
feet. So I'm going to curve
around.
And same thing here.
Curve around
for these little feet and then
connect everything with a
slight curve for the bottom.
And then of course
we have to draw the tail. So
we're going to come about right here
and we're just going to draw one
big circle.
I'll just fit whatever space I have
and fit this in here.
About right there.
And then we're going to come in
with another curve.
And
just tuck it in.
There. And
since I didn't put the heart, you know, I'm just going to
put one right here
because Cinnamoroll
loves watermelon.
We'll just put some
hearts here and there
to make this drawing extra
cute. There. So now
I'm just going to go ahead and come in and
color it for you.
So there. All done. I really hope
you love how this drawing and coloring
of Cinnamoroll eating a slice of
watermelon turned out. So hopefully
you saw what I did here.
Hopefully the camera picked it up. But I used
a very light gray just to give some
shadow to Cinnamoroll because
he is just white. So by
adding some gray shadows, it just really
pops out the drawing.
So I really hope you love how
it turned out and that I made this
fun and easy for you to follow along
with me today. And if I did,
please make sure to give me a like and
