Advanced Backhand Angled Attack For An Outright Winner

hi welcome to primetime pickleball my name  is nicole havlicek in this advanced backhand   upgrade series we're going to talk about three new  types of advanced backhand shots that you can add   to your arsenal whatever level you're playing  at right now you should always be learning new   things and putting new shots in your tool bag  so that you can keep your opponents guessing   because you always have different things  to throw at them even jordan and i   as five-o-level players are still today and  will always be learning from other players   as well as experimenting and being  innovative to learn new shots and skills   that will give us a competitive edge on the  court that's what you should be doing too   and that's what this series is all about in this  video we'll be covering shot number two of the   series the backhand angled attack please  see the description below for links to the   videos on shots number one and three of this  backhand upgrade series okay let's get to it   missing one of our videos is like missing an  easy put away don't let that be you subscribe now alright so now let's jump into the second shot  that i'm currently learning and working on today   and this is the backhand angled volley off of the  court all right so this situation is when you have   both players back and you and your opponent are  up so i'm up here at the non-volleys online and   they are on the defense so they're hitting shots  to stay in the point either from mid court in the   transition zone or the baseline and what i'm gonna  do is instead of hitting it hard and deep to my   opponent's feet i'm going to angle it wide off  the cord where it's just going to be unreachable   unreachable and a clear winner all right so  let's i'll show you a few points of that now wow angled backhand attack shot execution [Music] okay all right so like you just saw hopefully  you saw a few examples this is a shot that really   angles white off the court and is going to be  pretty much a clear winner all right so like i   said this is when your opponents are both back on  the defense or they're in the transition zone back   on the defense and instead of hitting it hard at  them taking this angle i'm taking this ball early   out in front and then i'm rolling it out wide all  right so yeah i hope this video was um just an   interesting one and something really cool you know  me as a 50 player i'm still constantly learning   watching film watching the top pros and and  learning a lot from them and just little things   i could pick up from them okay so whatever level  you are you always want to be pushing yourself   to new heights learning new shots and putting  new weapons in your toolbox so that you can take   on the court all right so thanks for watching  us in this video and we'll see in the next one   if you enjoyed this video please give it a like  thanks so much for watching for more free video   lessons please visit primetimepickleball.com  but before you head on over there   make sure you subscribe to our youtube channel  so that you don't miss out on any future videos   also for prime time pickleball shirts like this  and other great apparel please visit ptpgear.com
