The video title is misleading. This time the Czech Philharmonic could just as well rename itself the Czech Cimbalom band or even the Czech Jazz Big Band.
For its 130th anniversary it’s added several other musical styles to its classical repertoire. 🥳 The exact program of the orchestra’s birthday rehearsal is, of course, a surprise, but we can reveal that you’ll see, for example, clarinetists playing saxophones or a cellist on drums. 🎺 🥁

You’ll also find out which instruments our stage managers play and which Philharmonic player is in charge of the menu when celebrations come to the Rudolfinum.
