Garden Party Market Bag Crochet Pattern
When it comes to texture and colour, this crochet market bag has lots! The Garden Party Market Bag is worked from the bottom up and features a stitch that I have called the Twisted Granny stitch. It features clusters of three double crochet stitches that are worked around the posts of the stitches two rounds below. Working three stitches around the post of the same stitch creates a twisted look that is eye catching.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 6 rows of dc = 4 inches
Finished Size: Approximately 14 x 16 inches laid flat
Yarn: Dishie Worsted Weight by KnitPicks/WeCrochet® (190 yds; 100g/3.5 oz; 100% cotton; (4) worsted weight). You will need about 600 yards of a worsted weight cotton. I will work it in four different colours: Colour A: About 285 yards, colour Swan, Colour B: About 105 yards, colour Jade, Colour C: About 105 yards colour Blush, Colour D: About 105 yards, colour Dewdrop
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) hook.
