She emphasizes that elegance is derived from precise application, strategic color selection, and seamless blending rather than the cost of the cosmetics, proving that professional results are accessible on any budget.
Hi everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Andaya here. I'm a celebrity makeup artist. I'm based
in Paris and in today's video I'm going to show you how to create an expensive looking makeup
done with affordable products only. It's the makeup look I'm wearing right now. I'm going
to show you not only the products but also teach you how to do this makeup look step by step. So
if you're interested please keep on watching. In order to make the makeup looking really beautiful,
really expensive, you understand what I mean by the word expensive. It's not literally,
it doesn't have to literally be expensive. It's that very elegant, that high-end, that very well
done makeup look. Because you could have a very tacky makeup look with the most expensive products
in the world, it's still going to look tacky. It doesn't make any sense. I'm going to show you how
to create this look that's very expensive looking. It's the one where it looks like you're using less.
It doesn't look like a lot of makeup but everything is so well done, so well corrected. The colors are
so good, the textures are so good and suitable for you that it just looks like it's made for you. So
that's what we're going to do. You've probably heard about this primer everywhere. This is a very
very sticky primer. Who is this for? People use it all over the face and I don't understand why.
You don't have to use this all over the face. This is actually a really good primer for those of you
who... I'll give you one example. I have had once a client that had had so many treatments, her skin
was like... guys it was incredibly... but when I tell you incredibly incredibly tight, no foundation would
sit on her face. I had to use something that's very sticky in order for the foundation to actually
stay. I remember that on her cheeks there were no pores just because of all the
treatments that she was doing. She was like in her 60s, maybe her 70s, I don't know. But I know that
she was so into these treatments and if you have that type of skin and nothing stays on you, try this
primer. If you have that type of skin where foundation kind of slips and slides from your
nose or the chin or even the cheeks, this is the primer for you. I use so little that you can't even
really see the product. I find that there's literally no interest for you to use a lot of
this product. It's more for those very particular areas where you need a better grip.
I think this is a dupe after the grip primer from Milk or they want it to be a dupe but it ends up
a completely different formula. I'm going to also apply a tiny pinch, just a little bit you see,
in between my eyebrows. Sometimes foundation can melt there because my skin produces a lot of
sebum. Okay, so now I don't know if you can see, look at this, it's very sticky which makes the
foundation have a better grip on those areas. Another product that I wanted to use is the
Halo Glow Liquid Filter. Again, this is one product that I think does not need any
presentation but for those of you that do not know, it's kind of like Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood
Flawless Filter. I'm going to take this brush and I'm going to use that same brush for foundation.
This will give you luminosity. I don't know if you can see. It gives you luminosity. It's less
intense than Charlotte Tilbury. I don't know if they wanted to create a dupe or not but
they succeeded to create a beautiful product actually. I do not apply this all over my face
because I think that I do not need that type of shine all over the face. Yeah, this is really
nice. I love an elegant formula and this is what I call an elegant formula where it's not like,
you know, it has that pearlescent beautiful finish but it's not too metallic. You see how
I've applied it only on the sides of the face. That's where I think you should apply this type
of product so it reflects the light beautifully. Forebone, a little bit above the forehead
and if I had like really beautiful jawline, I would have probably applied it here as well
but my jawline is pretty, you know what, I have it for my dad. I cannot complain and then I will
apply a little bit right here. Mind you, this is a product that you could apply before makeup and
after makeup. Now, foundation. I found that this True Match from L'Oreal is by far the best formula
for me and here's what I'm looking for in a foundation. I want something that is
light to medium coverage, something that can be built. I like, okay, this is slightly lighter
than what I need. Yeah, it's a little bit too light for me but we're gonna blend it and it's
gonna look good. I like something that is light in texture, something that you do not feel on your
skin. So, the majority of the product is on the center of the face towards the outer part, right?
This is such a nice foundation. I just wish I bought this in more shades. The next shade that
they had in the store, I tried the tester, it would have been perfect but they didn't have it.
I mean, it's not shocking, right? It's a little bit lighter. I would have loved for this to be
a tone or even half a tone darker but we're gonna make it work.
I'd rather have a foundation that is slightly lighter than darker. Now, I'm going to apply
foundation everywhere including my brow bone. Oh my god, this is such a beautiful formula, you guys.
So, you can see that product that I've applied here, it's still shining through. This foundation
is like velvet on the skin. It's so nice and it actually beautifully blurs your skin. It's like a
balmy texture in the same time as being a very light fluid foundation. I really like this.
You're not gonna see this just once on my channel. I have a couple of concealers. So, I have this one
from L'Oreal and I have the Elf. Now, the Elf, I have to say, this is very,
very high coverage. So, I think I will go with True Match from L'Oreal. Let's find a good brush to
blend. Can you get closer? Yes. Now, this is beautiful. This is beautiful. Just the way it
blurred the under eyes. You know what? The foundation and the concealer, they have this
blurring technology. I'm trying to figure out if I have seen any foundation with this formula. This
is really not bad, guys. You have to admit that this is a very, very beautiful, very natural base.
I'm going to use this liquid bronzer. This is also from Elf. It says Cameo Liquid Bronzer and
Contour. This is the shade I'm using. It's a little bit warm for being contour. However,
I think we can use this as a bronzer slash contour. I'm going to load my brush. It's so
much easier to blend once you have the product on the brush. This is so nice. I like the finish
a lot. It does not lift the foundation underneath, which is very important for me and it should be
for you as well. I'm going to take my foundation brush and just go over the edges like so. Go a
little bit more with this product. Now, this is very glowy. In order to make this product look
beautiful, you have to have a very light-handed. To have a light-handed with a product means that
you should get the right color. It's not a fully matte finish. Do you guys see? It's so nice.
The shade is just a bit too warm for my taste even as a bronzer, but it's so nice. The finish
is so, so nice. Also, guys, what I like about this is that it kind of dries halfway so it does not
stay wet where it becomes uncomfortable. I'm going to push this in my hairline as well.
Apply it also on the brow bone. Then with my foundation brush, I'll just go over it,
especially at the edges. I'm also going to use the blush from e.l.f. This is the liquid blush.
Again, I'm going to put this on the back of my hand. I'm not going to apply it directly on my
face. I'm going to take another Houselabs brush. I love this shape for a blush. It's this color
right here. I'm going to apply it on the highest point of the cheek. Again, this blush is really
beautiful. It has that same very light consistency. Again, lots of pigment. If you are maybe not that
used with pigment, I would say to use as little as you can. Now, I'm going to take a small brush.
This is a refer 14 brush. I'm going to mix a little bit of the e.l.f. concealer with the
L'Oreal True Match. The reason why I'm mixing them is because I want like a perfect consistency
for the under eyes. Do you see this part? This part right here. I want to make it come more
forward. How do you do that? By applying something that is lighter. I'm going to have this under my
eyes sit just like that. We're going to let it sit for about a minute and then I'm going to come
back and blend it. It's been about a minute. I'm going to take my first concealer brush and start
to blend this but not too far away. This is the Hourglass. I'm sorry guys, I have literally no
affordable tools. This extra step really helped my under eyes and also I find that it blended
beautiful with the blush because the blush was positioned pretty high. I like a very high blush
on me. The powder I'm going to use is going to be this one from Revolution. This is translucent
baking powder. I take it on a powder puff as I always do. Make sure the excess is off and I start
oh this is so guys this is so blurring. It's incredibly blurring this powder even under the
eyes. It's really really nice. Now I like to powder the areas that are kind of problematic for me
which is kind of like just the t-zone. I leave the rest of the skin unpowdered. Pretty good right?
You wouldn't tell that I'm not using my regular products. I was so impressed by this bronzer.
This is from NYX buttermilk bronzer and it's in this really nice shade where it's not
it's not too dark. It's definitely not orange. It's just perfect. I'm going to use a reference
05 brush and I slowly add a little bit of the bronzer. Remember what my rule is
if you see the bronzer the moment the brush touches your skin you've applied too much and
obviously that's just for powder bronzer. Really beautiful. It's not too matte. Everything
nowadays I feel like it's more on the satin finish. I rarely find very very matte formulas anymore.
And another product that I love that I've discovered a little while ago and I've been
obsessed with it. By the way the Kiko Milan bronzer is insane. A lot more pigmented than
this. So I say if you have a heavy hand maybe go with the NYX. If you have more of a light hand
go with this one because this one has so much pigment. As you touch it it's guys it feels like
Dior. It's so so beautiful this formula. I love it. Another formula that I've discovered
at Kiko and this I dare to say it's almost like a dupe after the Tom Ford shade and illuminate in
mood light. This is in the shade number 12 and it's the blush. I mean guys this is not a blush.
Come on. Come on. This is not a blush. This is straight on finishing powder highlighter
call it whatever you want but this is not a blush. Come on. I'm going to take it with this
fluffy brush. This is Nikila Rose in N20 and this is going to be my finishing powder
on top of the cheeks just to have more of that expensive looking glow. Look at this.
Come on. Come on. This is so good. This is very good. Like I wouldn't be able to tell which one
is which. Down the bridge of my nose a little bit. You know the drill. I also wanted to use
this blush from NYX. Now this is like a highlighter slash blush because this you see it has a very
luminous finish. It's actually not glittery at all but it has this very glowy finish. I'm going
to take it only a little bit on the highest points of the cheek just for that extra freshness. Not
too close to this area which is my problematic areas where I have very very big large pores.
This is more like a little bit right. Okay so I got this eyeshadow palette from NYX. I also got
this eyeshadow palette from NYX only because I liked this one two and three shades and I also
find that this is a really nice shade. For some reason I always loved a very nice Bleu Ciel and
I also have these two from e.l.f. and I actually had a third one which I do not know for the life
of me. Where did I put it? I'm going to take this eyeshadow right here with a refer 0-1 brush.
Classic eyeshadow brush. Now I'll get this at the outer corner of my eye and right on that
brow bone just to create a more open eye and then I will apply that same eyeshadow right here in the
inner corner doing like the sandwich effect. Now mind you that I'm barely touching the brush
with product. If you know me you know I like a very light eye makeup. Well contoured but
more on the light side. What is left? I take it on the lower lash line. I hate that I am
using two palettes but I absolutely need to wear this eyeshadow because my outfit tonight,
so I'm going for an event night and I'm wearing this exact color head to toe so I want to do like
a monochromatic look with like a nice lip. So I've taken this with a refer 0-3 brush.
Okay I'm applying this brown eyeshadow from the middle of my, actually from the end of my pupil
towards the end of my eye and I flick it. Just go a little bit high to lift the eye but without
giving it a very precise line. So just with the tip of my brush I do back and forth motions. I did
not take a lot of eyeshadow. That's the key to make the eyeshadow not fall. Like honestly if
there's an eyeshadow that falls on me then I know that that's not a good eyeshadow because I am so
careful with the way I work with eyeshadow. So just doing back and forth motions and then with
this other brush which is clean I kind of pull that eyeshadow but again it's not too precise
right? Same eyeshadow inner corner. Some people love a very thin inner corner. They even do
black eyeliner. I like a rounder inner corner and why is that? It's because my eyes are so
small and I find that when I do that black for example on my inner corner it makes my eye look
even more closed. So I just keep adding this eyeshadow at the end of my eye. A little bit
more here and then with that refer 01 brush come and blend. I'm going to take this eyeshadow with
my fingers. So I'm going to do this just on the center of my eyelid and I like this because it
has that warm undertone. Then I'm going to take a refer 02 brush. Take the exact same eyeshadow
but this time I'm going to get it really really close to that crease. So it's very nicely defined
and when I look down it has a really nice shine and you know what? One thing that I'm going to do
is add, remember this that I've applied all over my cheeks? The finishing powder. I'll take this
and apply it right in the inner corner. It's slightly darker than the eyeshadow that I have
right on the middle. Oh I like this eye. This is another amazing eyeshadow. I love it so much. Let
me show you. Where can I show you? Here. Guys look at this glow. I will take just a little little touch
refer 28 brush. This is the perfect brush for this eyeshadow. So taking the eyeshadow right
in the very middle of the pupil. Do you see how it's like adding that jewelry effect? I love that
on me. I don't like it on everyone especially people who have like more permanent eyes. I find
that it doesn't look good on them but because I have deep set eyes, like small deep set eyes,
I love this trick on me and I also like to apply it right here. This is from Kiko. So this is high
pigment eyeshadow in the shade 22. Let's add mascara and I've chose this one from Maybelline.
I actually have the telescopic one but this one just the paste inside it's more it's thicker.
I find that with the telescopic it's more for length and this is volume and length. I don't
like mascaras when I are new so I'm gonna I'm gonna have to apply this in two layers.
Okay the eyes are really nice but I am so bummed that I got these two thinking that oh my god
they're going to be just like the micro stroke pen from Anastasia. I kept them with the tip down.
This is medium guys. I'm sorry I found like this is from e.l.f. I found like really good products
in general but for eyebrows pencils that are too waxy. I hate waxy consistency. It has to be like
the perfect ratio between a little bit of wax and dryness. If it's too dry it looks too powdery.
There is no like precise strokes. If it's too waxy then you know it starts to become shiny
throughout the day. I I'm sorry I'm going to do my eyebrows off the camera. I'm going to use
the usual products that I normally use from Anastasia so I'll see you in one. Okay eyebrows
are done. Now let's see oh god guys I've got so many lip liners. I've got quite a lot of
lip products. I don't even know what to start with. I'm going to tell you something. This is my
most used. My favorite and when I say favorite it means a lot. My favorite lip stain. So especially
this color. This is in 109. Yes this is in 109 and it's from Kiko. And do you see this color? This
will not look like you have anything on your lips but it will give you color. It's exactly
the color of my lips. Let me show you your lips for better. And I like this because on days where
you know you're running errands or whatever you don't want to look like you're having too much
right? And for me this is just the perfect product. It's also such a good base. I don't like it too
strong that's why I kind of blend it with the fingers. And if you find that this gets drying
just start with the tip down and just slightly press on the tip and the ink will start flowing.
Yeah this is really really good. I wanted to show you this but this is more like an everyday me. You
can use it in the evening as well but I wanted to also show you. I have so much to show you.
There is one from NYX and one from Kiko that I wanted to show you so bad. This is the NYX
lip liner. Look at this shade. This is so good especially if you are a warm skin tone. I love it.
The first shade is Nude Beige. Second one that I think is so good for deeper skin tones. This is
from Rimmel London 705 Cappuccino. Again NYX in Nude Truffle. I think this one had my heart the
moment I've tried it. And then Kiko. Guys this color is so good. Kiko is 36. I'm going to use
a little bit of the Kiko 36. This is so creamy you guys. So creamy. But because it's darker
I again I blend it with my finger. I kind of do that with everything. It's very rare that I find
lip liner exactly the shade I want. It's so creamy this lip liner. It's insane. So we have
this. By the way the marker from Kiko I have it in three colors and by far the one that I use the
most is 108. 109 sorry. But 107 is also very good. Let me show you. So this was 109 and this is 107.
I bet that a lot of you knew about this. I did not know. This is like a dupe after
Bisou Bomb but in a cream form. It's a matte lip balm. Let me show you. So it looks like this
but you know you blend it and it's this gorgeous pumpkin spice. And then I also have this one.
This is also super nice. You know what I'm going to go with this. Oh guys so good. But actually
the color I don't like with this makeup. It doesn't work with my look. I need something that's
more brown. Wrinkles on your lips? Goodbye. Like there's none with this product. Blurs so beautifully
the lip. Yeah it's like a liquid form of Bisou Bomb from Violette. Now let me try the other
one on top. Yeah this is better with my outfit tonight. Really nice product. I'm gonna have to
say yes. Now I love this look and I think this shine is nice but let me show you what happens
when you add a little bit of liquid shine. Okay so this is exactly the same thing I've used at the
beginning of the makeup look. I'm taking the beauty blender and add just a little bit. Now
in the video this might not be doing that much but I tell you in real this looks really nice
and I mean really really nice. Now this is the L'Oreal Infallible this three second
setting mist and I have to say this is just as good as the one from One Size. All right guys
this is this is the final look. What do we think? Did we succeed to create like an expensive looking
makeup with affordable products? I think we did. I hope you enjoyed this video. As usual everything
is mentioned in the description down below along with the shades I was using and the brushes. I'm
so happy that I did this video and I just want to say one thing I'm happy that we live in a time
where we can find where we can all find products for each budget so we don't need to hate on each
other. Everybody has an option which is the beauty of 2025 right? All right thank you so
much for watching and I'll see you guys in my next one. Bye!
