When baby kittens were born in my backyard I knew I had to rescue them! They were abandoned and sad so I captured and trapped them and adopted them with my roommate Regina. But after an emergency vet visit, I realized I needed to buy cat tech gadgets to make him healthy!

AI GeneratedDaniel attempts various humorous and failed inventions to help his overweight kitten, Jumba, lose weight and stop stealing food. After expensive gadgets fail, he realizes that simple human supervision is the only effective solution. The video ultimately reflects on the value of slowing down to cherish quality time and emotional bonds with his pets.
This is our kitten Jumba,
and recently we took him to the vet
and the vet concluded that Jumba is fat.
Or at least he's at risk of becoming obese,
which would shorten his life if we don't do something.
But how is this happening?
My roommate Regina and I have four cats
and Jumba is the only fat one.
It doesn't make sense.
They love food, yeah.
Oh gosh, there they go.
But they all eat the same amount.
But that's when one day I realized
something happens when I leave them alone
while they're eating.
That's right, this entire time,
Jumba has been eating faster
than the rest of his brothers and sisters
and stealing their food when we're not looking.
Jumba, no!
Hey.
Dude, Curtis didn't even finish his yet.
I'm watching you.
So is Mother Goose.
How can we stop Jumba from stealing his siblings' food?
And how do we make him lose weight before it's too late?
It rhymed.
My plan was to build a state-of-the-art
anti-food-stealing invention that I call the contraption.
So many lies, so many lies, hey.
Sorry, don't mind the feet.
To prevent Jumba from stealing his other siblings' foods,
I will slowly lower the contraption over their heads
down to their feet, creating four walled-off sections.
And that way, when Jumba's finished eating,
he'll be trapped in his own little box.
So that means he'll, I guess he'll,
I'm not sure what's gonna happen.
Jumba is loved not only by me and Regina,
not only by you guys, the little toads watching at home,
but by his brothers and sister.
Since day one of them being born in my backyard,
Curtis, Pepe, and Azula had the leader of the group,
their brother Jumba, by their side.
Jumba needs to be healthy.
So I got their food ready.
I made Jumbas with extra love.
And then unleash the hounds.
You guys hungry?
Three, two, one.
Make sure everybody's in their dedicated spaces.
All right, now it's time to initiate the contraption.
Azula, where are you going?
Azula, you gotta turn around for this to work.
I will now lower the contraption.
Dude, Azula's already freaking out.
I am lowering it.
Oh my gosh.
Jumba has escaped.
I'm gonna put it down.
Yeah.
Pepe and Curtis.
Oh my gosh.
Azula, here.
Curtis.
Come on, guys.
Pepe.
Now he's eating Azula's food, Daniel.
Curtis.
Where was he?
There?
Oh.
He's eating Jumba's food.
This was a horrible idea.
It'll work.
Don't make any sound.
It worries me.
This is not working.
No.
Okay, fine.
Curtis is eating everyone's food.
He's gonna get fat now.
Make sure you subscribe for my orange cat is fat now.
There's a word for ideas like this.
An English word that originated around the mid-late 1500s.
Stupid.
Yeah, this idea was stupid.
I know what you're probably thinking.
Daniel, when Jumba's done eating,
just pick him up and lock him in the other room
while his brothers and sisters finish.
Well, I tried that and it just made him so sad.
It broke my heart, so.
I had an amazing idea.
What's underneath this blanket
is a device that cost me $300
and took me three hours and 47 minutes to build.
Jumba, please back up.
May I introduce you, little toads, little penya,
and cats, more so Jumba.
Curtis, take a hike.
To the hamster wheel.
For cats.
Check it out.
You ever see one of these things like a hamster cage
and the hamster just go running around and around and around
and unfortunately, sometimes this happens.
Well, we don't want that to happen,
but this is essentially that for cats, aka big boy.
This is literally like what humans use in gyms, okay?
It's for you, use it.
Yeah, that's it, go explore.
Oh, you lazy fool.
This had to work.
Jumba was the first cat
that me and my roommate Regina wanted to keep.
He's the leader of our little family here.
We love him and we need him
to live as long as possible.
He needs to get healthier and use this hamster wheel.
Curtis, stop being a freak.
Jumba, there you go, Jumba.
Yes, that's it.
Go on there.
I've never seen something like this before.
Oh, it's moving.
There you go, come on, burn some calories.
Be a little hamster.
Oh, Jumba.
He's over it.
He's overweight.
Hey.
We tried using food to make them go round and round.
Who wants food?
Well, you gotta work for it.
Oh yeah, they're all going crazy.
Come on.
I've seen videos of cats doing this.
It really works for some of them.
Jumba, you're going to have a shorter life
if you don't do this.
If you just walk a little bit.
Yeah, there you go.
Yes.
There you go.
Walk it off.
Yes, baby.
Walk it off.
Yes.
Preppy, stop.
Ow.
Nothing really seemed to be working.
Oh, he's losing so much weight.
He's gaining weight
because we're feeding him this food.
You can't do that.
Yeah.
This wasn't working.
Did I just spend $300 and three hours of my life
to make my cat's health even worse?
But that's when I had a foolproof plan.
Introducing experiment, bird buffet belly burner.
It's a bird feeder.
Yes.
You see, once I pour bird seed into this bird feeder,
it will create a bird buffet.
Birds from all over Las Vegas will fly right here
into me backyard.
What kind of grammar is that?
I hear one right now.
There he is.
Did you know what the number one killer of birds is?
Cats.
Yeah, cats are just drawn to birds.
It's a part of the way of life.
My cats have never seen a bird before.
The idea is once birds come to the bird feeder,
Jumbo will see it.
And for hours and hours, all day long,
try to chase the birds.
Jumbo, what are you doing?
Come on, Jumbo.
Oh my gosh.
And now we just wait.
So I sat and waited for the birds to come.
After that, I waited some more.
They were in the area, they were in the trees,
they were in the sky,
but they didn't know the bird feeder was there.
I tried making a trail of bird seed to the bird feeder
to make it easier for them to find it.
Then two days later, suddenly, all the cats saw it.
And that's when Curtis made his move.
Yes, this is perfect.
This is what I want Jumbo to do.
Then all of a sudden, Azula joined the party.
This is amazing.
Where's Jumbo?
Oh, yeah, of course.
But then a few hours later,
Jumbo finally decided to get up and hunt.
This was it.
But then, out of nowhere.
Bro.
Great.
Pepe, what are you doing, bro?
You ruined all the progress.
It was another fail.
Jumbo, this is what we call an intervention, honey.
You don't seem to be learning a gosh dang thing.
Cat obesity causes low energy and heart problems.
It also causes death.
Let's take a look at what your future holds
if you keep stealing your brother's and sister's foods.
You could be like this guy or this guy.
And worst of all, this guy.
Yeah, not good.
All we're asking is just keep your bowl to yourself
and do a little workout once in a while.
And then this could be you.
But that's only if you exercise.
So I can do this.
I have so much energy.
Hey, keep it down.
How did you get tickets to this show?
This is a private viewing.
Jumbo Marie Smith, Pena Ferry.
What I'm trying to say here is there's a reason
why you shouldn't be stealing your brother's
and sister's food.
Just like there's a reason why Morgan & Morgan
is America's largest injury law firm.
Yep, I transitioned into today's sponsor.
You see, Morgan & Morgan has a proven track record
of fighting for the people for over 35 years.
And with over $30 billion recovered for their clients,
Morgan & Morgan knows a thing or two about fighting
to get you the compensation you deserve.
You follow?
Now hiring Morgan & Morgan is kind of like hiring an army
to go into battle for you.
They have over a thousand lawyers
and a hundred offices nationwide.
Now, if you are injured by somebody else's negligence,
you deserve to get paid, okay?
So if you're ever injured,
you can check out Morgan & Morgan
and their fee is free unless they win.

you can go to forthepeople.com slash Daniel
and see if you have a claim.
Jumbo, where are you going, dude?
Where are you going, dude?
Of course, he wants food.
How am I gonna do this?
Nothing seemed to be working.
Every single thing I've tried so far was a bust.
Might as well change my name from Daniel to Buster.
If anything, Jumbo has been inflating
in size this entire video.
My baby Jumbo needed to be healthy
and I was afraid my next idea would ruin everything.
This is the bowl I usually feed Jumbo in.
Look familiar, Jumbo?
You're getting large, big boy.
Curtis, this video is not about you, you big ham.
Speaking of ham, did anybody order the roast pig?
Jumbo loves to eat out of this bowl
and I think that everybody else's bowl too.
What if there was a way that Jumbo
could get exercise as he's eating?
In other words, what if this green bowl moved?
Introducing the Tesla Cybertruck.
I'm sorry, that was uncalled for.
I would like to apologize, but I'm not going to.
This is a remote control car
that I will strap to the green bowl.
Well, more so, strap the green bowl
to this Cybertruck remote control car.
Look at that, buddy.
I never learned how to open up boxes.
Hey, Curtis, don't make me call you Bertus.
I don't know what that means.
Why did I get a Cybertruck remote control car?
Well, I thought the flatbed would make a perfect
little spot for the green bowl to go.
And yeah, it appears that I was correct.
Bro, what are you trying to achieve?
Here's the remote.
Oh yeah, Jumbo, learn.
I don't know what's about to happen.
Come on, guys, come on.
It's feeding time.
Okay, so we strap this onto the car like that
with some humble tape.
Careful not to get the wheels.
Okay, that's on there pretty securely.
Now we get his favorite food.
Yes, he's still a baby.
Plop it on.
We'll turn this guy on.
Whoa, look at that.
I don't know why it's a police car, but it is, gang.
Put this right there.
I have no idea how he's gonna react.
That camera's recording, this camera's recording,
and this camera's recording.
Okay, gotta put the batteries in the remote control.
Okay, releasing Jumbo in three, two, one.
Oh, that was anti-climatic.
Okay, there he is.
He doesn't know where the food is.
Jumbo, it's right here.
And there it goes.
Get it.
You gotta chase it.
You gotta chase it, boy.
Oh, it's doing a wheelie.
Get it.
Run.
He's acting disinterested.
It's food.
There you go.
Whoa, whoops.
Oh gosh, we got an accident.
Go chase it.
Are you that scared of it?
He wasn't even excited when he came out of the room.
Watch out, watch out.
He's afraid.
Look, it's food.
Jumbo, you're getting too big.
I mean, look at that stomach popping out.
Oh my gosh.
I think he's afraid of the car.
Are you kidding me?
Maybe your brothers and sister will show you how it's done.
I don't know.
There they go.
Oh, they see it.
Oh, Pepe, move.
Curtis and Pepe are running.
Look at Curtis walking so weird.
He's just taking chunks and eating.
Hey, it works for Curtis.
Oops.
And that's when I thought, what am I doing?
Do I have the IQ of a platypus or something like?
Oh, whoops.
This was a stupid idea.
Even if it worked,
I'm gonna be doing this every single day of my life
to feed Jumbo.
I was scaring my poor little babies.
Well, besides Curtis, he's just like out of his mind.
I mean, even with the car not moving,
Jumbo was the only one not eating from it.
He hated it.
And I think he hated me.
Do you see the way he looked at me?
He thinks I'm as stupid as a platypus.
I was feeling depressions.
So I relaxed on Brutus, the gorilla couch.
Yes, I still have this thing.
It cost me $1,000, okay?
I'm not just gonna use it for one video
and then throw it away.
Anyway, I cozied on up next to Brutus
and went on my phone and started doom scrolling.
And that's when something popped up on my screen
that could possibly change everything.
A slow feeder.
This little device is a bowl
that has a bunch of grooves in it
that makes it hard for a cat like Jumbo to eat so fast.
I was so excited.
I couldn't contain my excitement.
This could be what I need to make sure Jumbo is healthy
and finishes his food at the same time as his siblings.
No more stealing food.
I locked the cats in my room while I made dinner
and got ready for a brand new era.
An era of Skinny Legend Jumbo.
All right, Jumbo, I got a surprise for you.
Azula, Pepe, Curtis, you no longer have to worry
about your brother stealing your food.
One, two, three.
Eat some.
Oh, where are you going, Azula?
Well, that was weird.
But Jumbo, what do you think of your new bowl?
Azula, what are you doing?
What?
What do you think?
It's got a nice design, right?
It's purple.
Let's see how he's doing.
He's ate about a half.
How you doing, Pepe?
Oh, wait a minute.
How you doing, Curtis?
I've still got a lot left.
What the heck?
You're already almost done?
Hurry, hurry up.
He's gonna get you.
Well, you're bothering him.
Are you wearing pants?
It was yet again.
He's still eating super fast compared to the rest.
Another fail.
Slow down.
And that's when I realized I had to accept
there was only one way to prevent Jumbo
from not stealing his sibling's food.
And that is, I'm gonna have to lay here
every single time I feed them for the rest of my life
to monitor Jumbo.
But you know what?
I kind of like that.
Sometimes you don't need some expensive gadget
or some fancy gizmo to make your life better.
I said gizmo.
Sometimes it's just the simple things in life,
like slowing down a bit
and spending time with your babies.
You know, if this is the way it's supposed to be,
it's the way it's supposed to be.
If every single day in my life,
I gotta lay here for five minutes
and spend time with my four babies twice a day,
that's 14 times a week, 60 times a month, 720 times a year,
that means I get to spend 60 extra hours
with you every single year.
Which, you know what?
That's worth it to me.
I love you guys more than anything.
I wish I could spend every second of the day with you,
but I can't, so this will allow me
to just slow down life a little bit,
you know, focus and, Jumbo!
Jumbo!
