The Jabulani herd is a unique family of 16 elephants—11 orphans and five calves born within the herd over a decade ago. Their journey began with Jabulani, an orphan rescued in 1997, and a group of elephants saved from Zimbabwe in 2002. Over the years, they have opened their hearts to more orphaned calves, offering them a second chance after losing their families to human-wildlife conflict.
