1.5 kilometers to go. Zoe Baxter making an acceleration. I can't see
Consoni at the moment on her wheel so we need to see where those riders are again. We need to
remember it's a long drag up to the line from around about 900 meters to go so timing again
is going to be very important. So Zoe Baxter as we go through one kilometer to go. The British rider
looking to either lead out or launch something herself. The lead all track full faith in Elisa
Balsamo. Federica Ventarelli drops down through the group. We are through the Flamm Rouge with
one kilometer to go and Ali Wollaston being brought through by Marie Lennette from the
helicopter shot here as Barbara Gorischke and the team of SD Works Pro Time start to move Lorena
Vivas into position. Balsamo just a tiny bit boxed. Here comes Consoni on the outside though
for Canyon SRAM moving up at the lead out by SD Works Pro Time. Barbara Gorischke and Misha
Bredevold huge a lead out for them. Bredevold takes over on the front with Vivas right on the
wheel. Capponi for Balsamo. Balsamo just needs to slot in on the wheel now of Lorena Vivas. Ali
Wollaston is also right there and poised and ready but the lead out the final lead out for Lorena
Vivas as Ali Wollaston goes down the left. Elisa Balsamo through the center. It's between Vivas
and Wollaston and Balsamo but Lorena Vivas starting to accelerate. Elisa Balsamo trying to come back
but she's not going to do it. Vivas takes her second stage of the Vuelta a Burgos delivered
perfectly yet again by the team of SD Works Pro Time but this time Ali Wollaston and Elisa
Balsamo great sprint finishes from them. It definitely was. We could see the positioning
for some of those other riders just using the lead outs earlier and then slotting into the
wheel of Lorena Vivas. We could see Ali Wollaston was having to open up her sprint quite early even
to get onto the wheel of Lorena Vivas but some strong sprinting again from Vivas. No one able
to come around her even on that long sprint and you could see it was quite again we'll get some
replays but quite chaotic as well on on that running but just super cool ice cool on the
running to the finish for Lorena Vivas and if they're if they're trying to perfect that lead
out ready for stage one of the Giro it's really it's certainly coming together it is and we saw
even different kind of order that they were doing that lead out as well today and I think that's
another important thing is to be able to know how you can do a lead out in different scenarios
because of course if there's a harder day throughout the race you don't always know
who is going to be there. It was Gorischke that started doing that lead out, Wollaston
was on her wheel following her but it was Bredevoort that came up the right hand side with
on the wheel and we can already see that every other rider is already out the saddle but Lorena
Vivas has just sat there just pedalling and waiting I guess until she can see maybe Wollaston
go and then starting her sprint because she knows that she's got that jump it looked like a bit of
a drag race but Lorena Vivas has just got the power to continue to sprint all the way to the line
did and it was it's instinctive isn't it in terms of when Ali Wollaston went and Lorena Vivas just
reacted and launched her move Elisa Balsamo getting close but not close enough today great
finishes Millie Cousins for Vandervoort all up there as well on that sprint to the line
looks like Micah Vanda down in there for the team of Canyon SRAM so looking around the
the front of the group here so just some of the riders coming in on the sprint
but Balsamo and that is that that's the closest we've seen Elisa Balsamo get for a few races
to Lorena Vivas it is but she did have to come from further back as well Caponi doing a good
job to try and do that surge just to position her onto the wheel of Ali Wollaston and to be
able to at least open up her sprint near Vibes and to be able to try and contest as close as
possible but it was just so impressive that the jump I guess was there the same as for the three
of them but it's the way that Lorena Vivas can keep that high power for so much longer and to
drag that out all the way to the line our top 10 looks like this Lorena Vivas from Elisa Balsamo
out Millie Cousins, Cristina Tonetti and Margo Vigi is our top 10 on the stage and Lorena Vivas
by virtue of those bonus seconds will extend her lead in the general classification a two stage
wins already in this year's Vuelta a Burgos and it could be another one for Lorena Vivas tomorrow
more sprint opportunities for her
