Shohei Ohtani starting the game with a BANG! 💥 (Both times he's hit a leadoff HR when he started)

There's no one like him. He's got to race off the mound after he strikes out three in a row. He's got to get ready to hit. He's the pitcher and the D.H. The Ohtani rule is in effect. There goes Ohtani. Shohei. Lighting up the highlights already. It's a lead off home run after he struck out three in the top of the first. And the Dodgers lead in one to nothing. He hit 55 in the regular season. A Dodger record. But he's gone deep for the third time this postseason. His first of the championship series. 117 off the bat. 446. Shohei Ohtani. Two more doubles last night, hitting 522. Six extra base hits over his last six games. Now in the finale, off we go with a towering drive on the first pitch. Did he get enough? Merrill can't get there. It's gone. First pitch of the game. The pitcher hits it out. A living, breathing statue. Shohei Ohtani.
