Red Castle High Uintas Wilderness, Utah

A group of hikers embarked on a four-day, three-night backpacking trip to Red Castle Lakes in the High Uintas. Despite the challenging elevation and steep switchbacks, they successfully reached the spectacular lakes, spent a restful day soaking in the wilderness, and completed an 11-mile downhill trek back to their vehicle, concluding a rewarding and physically demanding adventure.
